Did you even watch what he simulated? It looks good. Not sure how you can spin something like that as a negative. WTF?

Nah, don't trust him at all from his history.

The other big 3 do a much better job at analyzing than him.

Any clues as to where this takes place? I figured Hawaii but someone mentioned San Francisco. Actually paying attention to the environment outside of the tropical aspect there is the Golden Gate bridge I guess?

Saw the Golden Gate Bridge ruins in the distance. In the bay area for sure.

Ok cool so you didn’t watch it. 👍✔️

Nope. I told you why. Anything he posts I take with a grain of salt.

I am pretty sure there will be a 60fps mode in the game when it releases. Will look at them closer to then or when official videos release.

This is one of those games I wouldn't mind playing at 30fps because of how gorgeous it looks. I will have to see what compromises they used to get 60fps later.

After watching the simulated 60FPS vid, I think I'd go performance mode for this one. PS5 needs a DLSS equivalent asap. A DLSS equivalent with raytracing in this game...man that would be beyond incredible.

Don't trust anything this guy puts out. The fake Xbox fps counter from Skyrim, the inaccurate Biomutant analysis, using open source frame counters that could be potentially inaccurate instead of official equipment, the list goes on.

Recommend stick with the big 3: DF, VGTech and NXGamer to cross check / confirm.
He sux but a 60fps simulation is cool.

I played the DLC to the original recently and 30fps wasn't bad but would like the option for 60 if possible, at least to see what the differences would be 30v60 in visuals.

Haven’t watched it yet, but my guess all that foliage in between areas of interest will be loading zones, hence the density, and the lighting/effects will be turned down a lot/off.

Possibly.

NXGamer also touched on the fact that since this will also be running on the PS4 further increases the chances of a 60fps mode. Basically a dialed back version at double the framerate.

Do we know PS5 version specs in terms of resolution and ray tracing? I’d like to see 4K 30 FPS and variable resolution 60 FPS.

I think it's going to be checkerboard 4k / 30 fps, dynamic 1440p/60fps my conservative guess.

One thing I have to say I do have a bit of a problem with is them making SF look like Hawaii, SF doesn't look like that. There aren't palm trees everywhere and the water isn't crystal clear, you really can't even see through the water all that much at least not the parts I've been to. It's an artistic choice yeah but it just doesn't look that accurate to me, you could tell me that was a tropical island and I'd believe it.

The trees are the only ones who can afford to live there now.

An example of cross gen done right, upgrades all across the board from the first.

Honestly, the game looks great and I’m excited for it. But this made me laugh (the music especially) too much not to post:

That's why you don't debut games with "in engine" footage, the original one of her diving in the water was clearly a cinematic of some type anyway you wouldn't get that angle or animation when diving in the water during gameplay.

Anyone see that ass clown Jeff Grubb's tweets about wanting them to cancel this and make killzone and then wanting his followers to get "release date trending" yeah that guy isn't biased at all lol. He really shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone, especially after his lie about online play being made free on xbox when that was never going to happen.

Yeah, he's pretty biased and that tweet's pretty toxic, basically throwing fuel to the fire that is the console wars.

Aloy is looking a bit puffy. Too many cyber T-Rex burgers I guess.

I wonder when this is slated to release. I know they only showed a short section but the major parts of the game seem to be in place.
