Now that the annoying internationals are out the way the season can really get started!

Spurs should have a very strong team once they gel.

I hate the international break so early in the season.

I think this could be a very good season though. Many teams have the quality to fight for the title.

Placing my money Cardiff staying in the premier league. That win over City was big. Actually, a lot of good teams have been losing recently, it's a very interesting time.

Also, USA beat Mexico and Panama lost against Honduras. We made it to Brazil!

I don't see Cardiff staying up my self. I don't feel that any of the newly promoted sides are quite good enough, except maybe Hull.

I guess you haven't seen Cardiff play yet. They are good enough to stay up, and they will be causing upsets throughout this season.

Looking through their squad, they have some good players like Caulker, Bellamy and Odemwingie will get goals, but I see them doing a Blackpool of a few years ago. Causing a few upsets but in the end going down.

Possibly, but Cardiff play better football IMO.

Blackpool's downfall was that they over committed when they took the lead. It surprised a few times at first and got them some shock results but teams sussed them out in the end. Though all three newly promoted teams have some good players in there, I can't see any of the other teams going down this year. Obviously still early days though.

Definitely agree on Palace, I'm thinking Stoke too. That team has rode their luck for a bit too long. They've had a decent start but I see them dropping way down the table, Mark Hughes is an awful manager too.

Yeah mon the gooners. Saying that I dont fancy us pushing for the title. I think top 4 might be a struggle. Just dont think there is enough depth in the squad and wenger still hasnt sorted out that defence.

Yeaaaa buddy Ozil making an impact already. Hope to see a lot of Ozil to Giroud throughout the season.

The Ozil and Wilshere combo is pretty ridiculous. Walcott's final ball/finish has been poor this game though.

Cardiff drew today, which is good. United won too, now all I need is Chelsea to beat Everton and I'll be a happy camper.

Spurs looked fantastic today and its a bit of a shock it was only 2-0

Not a good result for Chelsea. They need Wiilian in the squad quick as they are lacking up front.

and people think Walcott is a good substitute for an out and out striker:oops:.

Ozil and Corzola though will be a hell of a creative duo. Throw in Wilshire and then Arteta too and all arsenal are missing ( still) is an out and out striker.

From yesterdays match that middle 4 for Arsenal don't look ideal for defending.

Hazard was putting in so much work but Everton wasn't having it. Torres should have started IMO. I heard that Bale scored on his debut, gonna have to go check that out.

IMO they defensively looked pretty meh for a top four team. They resigned Flamini, but I honestly don't remember him winning the ball in the game against Palace.

They're defensively weak, but Vermalen is out, and they are a bit stronger at the back when he plays.
