What is CPA?
Certified Public Accountant is the title of qualified accountants in numerous countries in the English-speaking world. It is generally equivalent to the title of chartered accountant in other English-speaking countries. In the United States, the CPA is a license to provide accounting services to the public.

Someone who spent their entire 4 years in college actually studying and not getting laid.
Tell me about it, I like to claim I study comedy in University but in reality I study mechanical engineering, The the amount stuff that they squeeze for you to study is over the top. From crazy math, Physics. fluid dynamics, Structural Finite element analysis, diesel, otto cycles & so many I cannot remembered.

But interestngly, one of my favorite subject was Business law, after programming. Turned out, I am pretty good in legal studies thingy. Unforunately I am too honest.

havinf said that I spend more time chasing p***** than study. Thankfully I can can dial the knob to 12 a month before exams & go full beast mode.

I thought you were a software engineer like me?

I know a few mechanical engineers from my college days. Even in CS (computer science degrees) classes that I took they teach you an absurd amount of math.

Programming & 3D modeling are self taught mostly. When I had holidays in school, I used to spent time borrowing books from library, & learning modeling and programming.

My parents wanted to push me into engineering. I got one look at some of the crazy stuff and realized it was too much for me. I worked my way through the basic Calc I had to do and that was it. I know people in that field too and it is nuts. The big thing is though, get yourself an engineering degree from a decent school, and jobs will be calling you up asking if you have time for them to sit down and maybe offer you a job.

IT is easy. Google + copy/paste from Stack Overflow. Nobody has written one new line of code since 2014! ;)

Looks like Microsoft started to release their E3 arsenal today....and it's coming in FAST, HOT and exciting. I love the idea of an Xbox app for my cabin up north. I don't want to have a game console up there. But damn, I have smart TVs, so the fact that I just need a controller there to pick up where I left off on a game at home on a rainy afternoon? Count me in.

Phil should do more of these, no less. His job to promote xbox, not to be Mr nice guy or your favorite uncle.. Speak rationally, factual. without smear.
I was surprised that MSFT didn't go after Sony after it became clear that Sony's "We Believe in Generations" statement turned out to be complete BS.

Sony went after MSFT when MSFT revealed that their games on XSX/S would be cross-gen. Sony hammered them for it and now we know Sony will be using the exact same strategy.

Uncle Phil should have unleased marketing hell upon Sony for that reversal. But the internet did it for them.

I am glad he is pointing this stuff out. He needs to show the pretty massive advantage this has over the competition. Come across as more consumer friendly. He did that with cross platform play. Games Anywhere. Game Pass.

Buying a first party game and have it playable on console, PC and mobile device...day one....for the one price. It should be how they all operate.

There are probably 100 things that would be better to attack Sony on than they make you buy a game again if you want it on PC. Attack on the generations stuff is also pretty weak because that is just flip flopping PR talk that only console fanboys squabble over.

Funny you say that because the generations thing is kinda a bit of a lie from MS as well. They gave us the impression that they were supporting Xbox One for longer than what they appear to be doing. Trailers for Forza Motorsport, Avowed, Fable, all showed for PC and Xbox Series X/S, no mention of Xbox One. Xbox One apparently isn't getting a Flight Simulator release either, even though they say they are "looking into it".

I don't agree, the little things add up. In the fiercely competitive console gaming space I thought MSFT not acknowledging Sony's flip flop was a mistake. Not a major mistake since the Web has eviscerated Sony over their reversal. But a low effort statement from MSFT would have gone a long way to cement into gamers minds how Sony totally reversed course for a stated major PS5 policy.

Like Hedon said they have kind of flip flopped there but at the same time they are doing it so they can't really come off as being against cross play. Microsoft would need to have released more games of some kind to be in a position to take a stance to make Sony look bad but Sony has released more cross gen and next gen only games so its a pointless area for Microsoft to bother going after them for.

Wouldn't you really rather see them going after Sony for $70 games or something that actually matters?

I'd like MSFT to remain aggressive and pounce on any perceived weakness or reversal from the competition. They have the resources and its not like I'm saying they needed to make it a huge deal. I just think it would have been a great opportunity to ask the Marketing dept. to come up with a clever statement to highlight Sony's reversal.

MSFT is getting killed out in the console business. Sure, they are making money hand over fist but the perception and reality is that Sony is again running away with this new generation. So I want MSFT to seem to still have some fight in them and not let opportunities go by. As I said before, the little things add up.

Shame he didn't say they only do it because they own the console, the cloud, and the OS they release on.

If Microsoft is sticking their fingers in pies other than consoles who cares if they are getting "killed"? Given how they are doing things and how Sony is doing things Sony outselling them like that is not such a bad thing since Sony is all in on selling consoles only.
