Kind of suspected it since the PC load times trumped all consoles.
Looks like the game is still running on last gen codes that the XS consoles seem to have an advantage in when compared to the PS5 in terms of loading. It's not just brute force either because even the XSS loads 3 seconds faster than the PS5.
RE Village is a better example of a multiplatform next gen game optimized right. 1.5 second load times on the PS5 and no fade to black loading screens.
