I’ll have you know I cried myself to sleep, but I’m over it now. Mostly.

I had fun. Only got to do 4v4 on it, but it was the most Halo map so far. The warthog, ghost, and mongoose control great, and I really dig the new physics on them. Really like that light effect under the ghost. It's symmetrical and soooo Halo. I watched Greenskull play some CTF on it and it looked great too.

The way they are doing the Forerunner structures is fantastic. The reflections make a huge difference. It's quite beautiful and they did a great job weathering everything. Only think I didn't like was the warthog leaving tire marks in the sand like it was concrete, lol.

Is this game Steam only on PC? Was the preview that just ended Steam only? Saw they were going to open it up to more people this weekend via the Xbox Insider Hub, but even though that is available on PC doesn't seem to include PC people.

Still need to be a halo insider to get in on pc, they’ll give you a code you can redeem on pc

I got a code. So I'm an idiot... will I be able to play the PC version this weekend? With the notification that I was accepted it says I can download it on Steam with a provided code. So the Halo Insider portion makes it seem like PC users included, but then what is Xbox player mean?

Yes you can play it this weekend….which should also grant you access to in on any Xbox one or series console, which you could preload it now there (dono bout pc, maybe).

Reading up on it, seems like anyone on Xbox can play, but for PC new people need code from Xbox? idk going to give it try. Only have One X which is still boxed after moving.
