Trailer looked great, but as much as I love Pink Floyd that didn't seem fitting.

Wasn't his DUNE kind of a stalled project from Jodorowsky? I wonder how much of the previous set design or visual FX work he inherited to wedge into his vision.
I'm not sure on the stalled project. It was years ago when I read it. The film run so over budget I think Lynch started putting his own cash into it. It really reads like a nightmare project to finish. Then it gets released around the same time as Star Wars - a literal polar opposite in terms of sci-fi
With Wonder Woman pushed to Christmas day I would be amazed if this isn't pushed to next year now
If there is any hope of it doing well enough for a sequel it has to be delayed.

Never read it. Watched the Lynch version many times and so I know the scenes from the trailers pretty well. I've always heard it was hard to film because of the book.

I loved David Lynch's version. The trailers seem relay the same vibe. Never read the book. I think it's a chill movie. It's not going to be action packed. It's more of the ambience/scale of the settings. You'll hear a lot of what they are saying to themselves (voices).
I can't wait to see it on stream.
