The 3D printing/Figurines/Minitures Hobbyists thread

Just a small update before my holiday on Friday.

I am super busy at work, & often exceeded the 10 hours a day allowed ( I am able to bypass the restiction as I am working at home & do not need to punch cards). But I manage to packed for my Holidays. I manage to upgrade my 9 years old laptop from Win7 to Win10 free (not trick, hack, just free from MS) & manage to installed Zbrush & ,Maya so I can do some 3D work (if I fancy) during my holidays.

I uploaded all the necessary files/folder. I do not expect high productivity though, as it is stil my holidays. I need a well deserved rest.

Go and get your fav lunch you haven’t had in ages and get a massage in the red light district :) maybe watch a good movie or two too

Just did a check on my email before my trip, & presently surprised I got 62 download for my captain marvel model. thats on 1 of the 3 sites I posted. The other 2 unforunately do not show the amount of download. Someone also took pictures of his 3D print which is always nice.

My other 3D print, the Horadric cube also get a modest 14 downloads so far on the same site.

No I don’t

I am on holidays now. I bought a book on drawing cute manga chibi (miniatures) style and have drawn all 7 Diablo 2 heroes in chibi style on a sketch book, for making to 3D print.
i will upload them when I returned.

I resume my Classic Lara Croft Project for 2020, & have something to show for.

The pigtail (braid) is made from 3 base long Cylinders & hand bends to shape one over the other until final shapes, like braid iRL. Yes, it was a lot of hard work.

Update for the week. Very busy week at work, so I only have limited time & energy. Nevertheless, I push forward.
Consistency is one most important to reach the goal, so even when I am dead tired, I still spend at least 30-45mins per day.

Started sculpting/detailing work on the belt area.

Update:

Belts & gun Hosler general detailing is done (Yes, it will be mirror to right side). SO I started with pants & tank top.

Update. Hair is pretty much done. It took a long time, & many reworks. (will still make the final polish when all detailing are done)

Oh wait, in fact, all the detailings are done, & I can start looking over to fine-tune where I can improve. :banana:

Next 2 steps

1) Isolate the hand, glove, fingernails into a new model, & rig it to hold the handgun.

2) Rig the braid so the tail in the front, as it is crashing with the backpack.

I wish I look as good as them to pose for camera as Lara. Anyway, thanks for the feedback on the shoulder.
