Shocker!!! We hear you, but we will take our sweet time. Lol.

This game won't really be ready for another 4-6 months.

Funny thing is all this could have been avoided. Why don't devs ever look at feedback for other games doing similar things?
 
not fantastic timing releasing it with a dogs*** (business term) progression system so near a holiday, complaints gonna build up.

that said, I know from the sheer amount of threads all over about the topic that the progression is going to be changed in some way. Tons of valid critiques about it all but I'm content to just play the game in the mean time. Still haven't spent a dime, but have no problem doing so when I'm further along in the pass, AND honestly when I feel a bit better about supporting it.

The other issue is I've seen a couple of people with the brand new armor set all completed. You know they bought it because you can't even get enough challenges to get it yet.

These models "work" because there's a small number of people who whip their credit card out no matter what. The majority hate them, but they make enough money off the "whales".

Time for a positive one:

IGN: 9 - Amazing

To summarise:

Gameplay good. ( which we have all said is the case)
BP bad.
Challenge system bad.
Can't hear enemy footsteps (but who needs that in a fast paced competitive MP shooter.)
Inconsistent melee (Only one of the most powerful Spartan weapons and a big part of gameplay)

  • Halo Infinite looks absolutely gorgeous. The environments within each map are so detailed and pretty that I’m now looking forward to the campaign even more. The lighting, settings, and overall look of Infinite bring the futuristic world of Halo to modern-day glory.
  • While the modes aren’t revolutionary, they are undoubtedly fun and infinitely replayable.
  • Each of the seven maps for arena matches are incredibly well designed. Strongholds mode that really shows off Infinite’s superior map designs.
  • Well placed spawns
  • Good weapon balance
  • Weapons handle great
  • Gadgets like Grappleshot are great
  • Grenades are an artform
  • Gameplay is excellent
  • It’s so nice when a game actually lives up to sky-high expectations! Halo Infinite has been one of the most anticipated games out there since it was first announced three years ago, and for its multiplayer component to so fully deliver on the series’ classic feel while also keeping up with the modern-day competition in the FPS genre is a huge achievement. With some fantastic map design, a collection of straightforward but highly engaging modes for both large and small groups, excellent weapons and gear options, and those delightfully bouncy and sticky grenades, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer modes put it in the top tier of competitive shooters.

Finished my weekly challenges last night, wasn’t too bad. I think I’m at BP 21 and the Fracture Event is 7 or 8. Ranked is starting to get sort of sweaty for my old self, especially with randoms. I’ve been going back and forth at the edge of platinum 6 and diamond. Initially didn’t care for Fiesta too much, but it was actually pretty fun after getting the hang of it. (terrible on Behemoth though) It can really screw you on your weapons though.
