Just bought an Astro City Mini, even though the game library really isn't the best (the neo Geo mini I have is much, much better in that regard) the physical arcade seems to be really authentic and very well put together.
From Japan, so games will be in the japoonese language, but it's arcade games, so I'm confident it won't matter.

Random ridiculously awesome purchase.

Was deciding on doing a different setup for the entertainment part of my 1 bedroom apartment or getting something nicer than the gaming chair I bought that which is just okay, but not that comfortable for long game sessions.

I looked around for an alternative to getting a heavy expensive recliner and came up with this option. It's like a bean bag sofa, except instead of beans it's filled with tiny pieces of shredded Memory Foam so it doesn't make an annoying crunch sound when you sit in it or move around. The foam came shrunk in vacuum sealed boxes so that was different; the stuff expands after it's opened.

It was a hassle to break the foam blocks, but I wanted to be really sure it didn't have lumpy spots inside.

It's a strange way to furnish a place, but holy sh't is it comfortable. It's awesome to just crash on it after a long work shift; it feels so good for my back. I think kicking back with my feet elevated is good to. I sometimes do lots of walking and stepping at work.

I'm using it for shows, games, naps, and also VR. So far I played Discovering Space 2 in VR just chilling out on this thing while flying between the planets.

So I went with my girlfriend to her friends house this weekend to pick something up, and saw they had one of these just laying on their living room floor in front of the couches. Looked so damn comfortable but we were only there for a minute so I didn't have time to ask about it lol

Japanese 'Tamagoyaki' egg pan plus a wide spatula. I saw this being used in a YouTube clip and it impressed me since most of my breakfast cooking is just stirfry basically with eggs added to make a scramble.

With this, you let some pre-whipped egg cook across the whole pan and then use the spatula ( I'm not gonna try the chopstick method ) to flip and roll it, add more oil and egg, then do it again. I think this could be a breakfast game changer if I can actually use it correctly.

Just ordered I haven't tried this yet. It comes next week. I got one that is 'stoneware' non-stick coating.

Video of how this is supposed to work. I may screw this up the first few times, but we'll see. Also, I will tweak the ingredients. I'm not into the idea of sweet eggs with a load of sugar wtf. Still, the idea of having a nice proper omelette roll is nice.

So... Just called home, what I thought was, a Pleyseat Evolution racing chair for $50 on our eBay counterpart here.
But... It seems I bought a Pleyseat Air force instead... lol
Anyone here have any knowledge of playing racing games with flight simulator rigs? Will this be uncomfortable? It doesn't seem to have the pedal stand that the Evolution have...

For reference:

This is what I thought I bought;

This is what I got, lol;

I guess I'll have to start playing flight simulator A LOT more if this doesn't fit racing games lol

Decided to finally get a larger footprint air fryer. Was thinking of getting a new oven with air frying capability, but decided to go this route. Can get rid of my toaster and dehudrater as well. Almsot got the Panasonic 4-1 microwave/air fryer, but decided against it.
