Film grain is pretty essential to a photo realistic image. It's all about how it's implemented. I hate CA for the most part. I really hate that TruMotion fake smoothing effectI'm the weird person that likes those effects. I also like the soap opera effect on TV's. Lol
YawnDo what I do. Just mod it out.
PC master race FTW.
Good ol JinCa trolling the Hellblade devs now lol

It wasn't a cut scene though, hence the salt.I actually agree with JinCA (Jerry!) on this though. Not saying it wasn't in game but no HUD, No targeting when throwing the spears,...it really just looked like a cut-scene IMO. I'd love to be proven wrong as the grfx look sick. Fact is, I was really hoping they would expand the combat system in H2 as it was pretty bland in H1. However, that trailer made it look even more bland. I know Ninja Theory has the chops as they did DMC, Heavenly Sword and Kung Fu Chaos. I mean it can be more realistic but give me some fun combos and move sets to spice up the action.
It was a single 6 minute demo of a tiny part of the game showing off the graphics. This is part two of Hellblade so I don’t anticipate a huge change in combat. The focus is psychosis. I would welcome additional combat so long as it doesn’t ruin their story vision of the game.I actually agree with JinCA (Jerry!) on this though. It was in engine. Where the "supposed gameplay" is I have no idea.I actually agree with JinCA (Jerry!) on this though. You could see brief moments of where it you could see “hmmm, I could see that…sans crosshair or hud”.It was in engine. Where the "supposed gameplay" is I have no idea.
He's wrong and you are as well if you agree with him.Yet he isn't wrong.
So you did't watch it. Got it.He's wrong and you are as well if you agree with him.
No idea how the first was shown off.You could see brief moments of where it you could see “hmmm, I could see that…sans crosshair or hud”.
How’d the first game shown off, was it similar?
Used to people throwing up valid criticisms. Yeah, you should be used to it.Eh. It’s an Xbox game. We should be used to people shredding anything Xbox related
I actually did and heard what they said and saw what they showed. So you did't watch it. Got it.
Used to people throwing up valid criticisms. Yeah, you should be used to it.
Nobody has said it wasn't "real" but what they showed comes off as an interactive cinematic rather than full on gameplay. Senua's actions seemingly counted for nothing.
Yes, visually it looks very nice, but they did a piss poor job on the gameplay....agaii
There isn't another game with such seamless transitions, nor another game that looks this good - despite it's flaws.Used to people throwing up valid criticisms. Yeah, you should be used to it.

Dude, God of War has QTEs, but it also has very fun gameplay. I wouldn't lump that in there...It was a single 6 minute demo of a tiny part of the game showing off the graphics. This is part two of Hellblade so I don’t anticipate a huge change in combat. The focus is psychosis. I would welcome additional combat so long as it doesn’t ruin their story vision of the game.
I have played plenty games that have a lot of QTEs which really aren’t gameplay either. They are pre scripted scenes. God of War, Quantum Dreams games, etc.
