Official Thread Starfield - 60FPS Coming to SX 15th May. Land Vehicles in the Works

I mean look at the majority of the games running between 60 to 120fps. I can't do a 30 anymore, if they bring that to the system, I will skip it, unless there a huge difference to the point to looks a motion picture quality.
It’s an RPG. Unless it has some fast-paced action driven combat, I don’t think 60 is necessary. Personally, if that performance was put toward better details or expanded AI, I would be fine with it.
I kind of expect 60 fps on next gen consoles. At least PC needs to go higher than 30. Maybe I can live with a smooth 30, but that's rough. 30 fps needs to stay in older gen consoles.
Anyway for any big launch like this, I just expect a delay and/or bad launch. Games like this just rarely come off without delays. A November release date is your typical "we want to hit the holiday" instead of realistic work estimate. November is the time the higher ups want it done, not when it will be done. Not being negative, just realistic.
If they prove me wrong and break that mold, great.

We get 60 because we are working off last gen baselines. If we want envelopes pushed, then 30 will be a factor. I do feel like they should be offering 60fps modes though.
Wasn't that Matrix Awakens demo like 1440P @30FPS on XSX?
The Coalition UE5 demo was only like 45FPS with upscaled 4K too I believe.
Not sure, but if it is only new gen, then they will be pushing the machine even more. If you want "next-gen" visuals and features, then you have to understand that 30fps is a possibility. If you want last gen visuals and systems, then sure, expect a 60 fps mode. Probably won't be 4k though.
For the record, the reason I mention the thread title is:
1. When I am looking to add news, sometimes takes too long to find the thread
2. I search the forum often, including using advanced search feature and thread titles, and when we have a paragraph for a thread title, my search results end up sucking and not being able to find the thread.
3. I have had threads not show up AT ALL when searching due to the title. Not enough people use TAGS as well.
4. The reason I search is because I don't want to make unnecessary threads.
An example is God of War. I wanted to add a post to God of War. But when searching by title and you put in God of War, there are zero results because those three words are too common. Then I search God of War 2018, and the only God of War thread that appears is God of War Ragnarok. When you search "god of war" (with quotes), there are zero results. If people used tags more often (assuming tag search is working), I think the results would be better. The search feature says "Tags will also be searched" when choosing "search titles only" option
I appreciate and love humor, but I don't want to sit around looking for titles when posting new information.

Current gen with last gen visuals, yeah. You seem to think there is no trade-off between visuals and framerate. I said pushing graphical boundaries. FPS aint free. If they can implement some of that DLSS 2.0 style goodness, they'll get more out of it....
