Looking forward to watching Rings of Power I have ROTK left to watch then I’ll start the series. Watched Battle for Helms Deep last night and when Gandalf and bros ride down the hill into battle that s*** is so epic!

Don't go in expecting The Wire. Only real similarities are that it's based in Baltimore and Marlowe is one of the main actors (but as a policeman). It's a good show though, would recommend.

Also, the elves hair ruin the whole look.
And it's strange af to see that there's token black characters but not a single asian...wtf? And the only elves that feels remotely like elves are Arondir (even without the correct elven hair) and the single long haired elf seen speaking to Elrond in ep 1.
Also, also it feels hugely impressive visually but minutes later it feels like Xena warrior princess production values.

True but I have a Ryan Murphy bias, from his time on American Horror Story, plus Niecy Nash is in it who I also like.
Yellowstone season 4 - 4 seasons and still as good as ever.

Gotta catch up on Reservation Dogs, Sandman and Cyberpunk. New season of Handmaid's Tale started last week. Andor and Dahmer drops this week. Oh and gotta finish the last 3 episodes of the newest season of the Umbrella Academy. That's just the stuff off the top of my head.

No one should ever "expect The Wire"
But it is worthy of a watch and very much related.
And everyone loves the Wire so much, it's pretty common to compare it to other shows that are at a level above others.
Well, currently I have Andor and House of the Dragon and like both, though HoTD might be not as great as I thought? We'll see. Liked the first few episodes and about to watch the latest.
I Love Andor so far. I'd probably place it right behind Mandalorian as my favourite of these Disney Star Wars side stories.

I think it's fine as a light hearted show, it can feel pretty cringe at times though.
It is pure trash. How anybody can defend this s*** is beyond me. The stupid woman who wrote it should be black listed and never allowed to write anything ever again.
