The most important part, the game play, is also sublime. Smooth as silk for me.Game looks better than the rat game, imo. 60fps and clean ass visuals. Sublime.
Yeah, How Long to Beat says:I'm a few missions in and I'm loving it so far. It is exactly what you'd expect, but in a good way. My only gripe is I bet this is going to be too short as usual and leave us wanting a lot more. Definitely the kind of campaign I play through more than once.
Walking footsteps are silent in the campaign. I really hope that's how the MP plays and not the crazy loud footsteps from the beta.
No spoilers, but I'm hearing that you should definitely stick around during the credits.
You are done???Nah, skip them and watch the hidden scene via the cinematics section.
I don't know how far I am but I must be nearing the end too. I'm loving it. I'll probably finish it tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
I actually liked the Black Ops and even Cold War campaigns, but IW does the best COD campaigns for sure. I still haven't played Vanguard. I'd buy it if I found it cheap, but it is still $30+ even on sale.
Finished it today. Really good overall. Ending got kind of lame with some massive BS/difficulty spikes (basically auto saving you in really bad spots).
There's difficult, and then there's "spawn people right behind you" difficulty.

IMO, the crafting was an unnecessary addition to this great game.Having to search all over for a boxcutter View attachment 8588

Maybe testing the waters for future CODs by implementing it near the end of this one?Like everything, it just gets over done by the end. I know COD has to mix in some stuff, but it gets old in a hurry.

Well, I wish it wasn't in campaign but it's not a deal breaker for me.Well I know the backpack itself is going to come in at least to DMZ (not sure on Warzone). Maybe not crafting, but definitely in a looting way.
IGN gave the campaign a 6/10 which I think is a pretty harsh. Their criticisms are spot on, but that's still a pretty low number.
