Have there been any really good games on the Series X that are simply not viable on a Series S? Thinking about getting a Series X, but wondering if the $200 price hike is worth it. Thank you!

I’m really tempted in buying a series s for my nieces, they love quick resume and would rather play on my series x for many games rather on their one x….luckily my nephews only play on their cell phones lol they’re getting SD cards

I bought a Series S day one and don't regret it, but you do need to be honest about what you want.

Also need to remember that this gen hasn't really started on Xbox yet and all games are cross gen thus far.

Anything you can play on the Series X will be playable on the Series S, just with lesser settings. It's like asking if spending $200 to upgrade your PC from Low/Medium to High/Medium is worth it.

One other important thing though is the Series S is digital only, so if you have any thoughts of playing physical DVD/UHD movies or think you might ever purchase a physical game, go with the Series X.

Definitely depends on what you want. Personally, i have no interest in the lower resolution, lesser settings of the S. I don't see the point in one if you have the option. And games are only going to get more demanding.

Phil Spencer started gaming in the era of cartridges and floppy disks; he even sold them at a place called Computer Mart before joining Microsoft Corp. as an intern in 1988, doing software development for Windows. Now he's in charge of the company's top consumer business, best known for franchises such as Halo and Gears of War.

Acquiring Activision, the maker of megahits Call of Duty and Candy Crush, catapults Microsoft to No. 3 on the list of biggest global gaming companies, behind Tencent Holdings Ltd. and Sony Group Corp., according to the company.

Are there any games on Xbox like that Animal Crossing game? I've been setting up games on a Series S for someone and can't think of many games they'd like. They like building stuff, but Grounded and Minecraft aren't liked at all. I installed that Medieval Dynasty, but don't know of anything else on Xbox like those.
