The constant puzzles.
I like Zelda like puzzles but not these in either gow game.
The visuals are nice but to close to the 2018 game which causes it to look like DLC.(has almost identical areas)
The combat/mechanics was annoying then and it is still now.

I'm not saying it's a bad game.. I'm just not feeling it and it's sameness.

Had more fun with Callisto Protocol. I know CP isn't as long and doesn't offer as much but it's fresher and looks miles better

Well if you don't like the combat I can see why you'd put it down, to me that is by far the best thing about the game. I love the combat and consider it among the best combat systems I've ever played.

Always enjoyed the God of War combat. Unlike a lot of hack and slash games there is a surprising amount of depth to it.

Right? And not only is there depth in what weapon you use and how you use it, but it does an excellent job of making all the different moves blend together really well so when you are tuned in and playing well it makes it all look incredible. I don't think any other action game makes the combat look as good as God of War. It doesn't look as goofy as other games of the same ilk where all the dodges are just a goofy a$$ somersault and the combat just looks like you may as well be button mashing.

I describe it like this, God of war is kung fu to general hack n slash games boxing.

I stopped in Chapter 5 or whatever Ironwood is. It's not a bad game, it's just not enjoyable at all other than the graphics and cool looking bosses for me. I'll probably get back to it after I get bored of other games I've been playing.

Nah I can see that being a spin off game like Miles. But next iteration Kratos seems to be available to keep going.
I'll take the spin-off then. I love that Atreus is much more nimble during combat due to his age

Anyone else find some of the boss fights in this game far more annoying than enjoyable? I always enjoyed the boss segments of GOW 1-3, haven't been much into them in the recent games. Maybe it's the over the shoulder view that kinda lessens the epic feeling of the experience, but every time a boss fight starts in Ragnarok my enjoyment of the game pretty much drops to the point of me wanting to turn the game off.

Dude, I finished the game and I can't even recall a boss.

I probably had too much of a break, played again today and the bosses weren't as big of a deal now that I'm remembering the controls. Enjoying the Norse mythology.
I enjoyed the game for sure. I am glad this one didn't do BOY!
