What movies have you seen recently?

John Wick 4 - 9/10

There is 2 action sequences in this that were the 2 greatest action sequences i have ever seen on film, but movie could have been 15-20mins shorter tbh, it did kinda drag around the middle and probably was 1 action sequence too many at the end

but man, its arguably the best john wick movie and its hard to find a franchise that gets arguably better with every release

I don't even like movies the past while, just can't find stuff that's good (there's the odd thing here and there)

This one is really moving me:

But I think you gotta be in the mood for this maybe?

I'm assuming this is currently in theatres? (I could just look)

Good to hear there's another one and it's still good viewing.

Creed 3 - Meh!!!

These creed movies just don't hit like the Rocky movies. They lack heart, adversity and triumph. Much like most modern movies they try to add an effect via words rather than show it through grit, determination, heart, and the act of survival in the ring. We see Apollo and Rocky get destroyed in Rocky and Rocky 2. Adonis gets a few bruises, barely looks like he fought.

Well, perhaps I should watch Requiem For a Dream again for the first time since it came out? I wonder how it dates, or aged, if you know what I mean?

Yeah, let's just give it a go?

I'll report back.

It needed an in fight montage. The empty stadium round was interesting but it made it seem like they fought like 3 rounds instead of 12.

Good movie but worst fight conclusion in the series by far

It aged well.

I enjoyed it for what it was. It's not going to win any awards, and will likely be quickly forgotten, but it's a well made "Zodiac-lite" style movie. It went by pretty quickly and was fairly interesting, decent cast for a straight to streaming movie as well.
Keira Knightly....wow, I must see it!

Jesus Revolution - Good

Good acting and photography. Avoids some of the more controversial topics, but retains the bigger notions of the pastors' egos being problems.
