Yeah I did that too, one thing that sucks is if an enemy runs right up to you the character just starts shooting off to the side because they can't point through the enemy lol so you can have someone up against you who can shoot you but you have to move in order to shoot them back. Also got stuck between enemies and a bench earlier and it wouldn't let me move and had a sound bug where a machine gun sound was constantly happening even in places where I wasn't fighting so I had to exit the game, hopefully it's not doing that when I turn it back on.

Ah yea that's the other annoying things I've had sound bugs and text bugs too they seemed to go away once I got to a cutscene or the next area.

Had a crazy bug tonight, got to an area with a robot spider and in the cut scene it spit out little baby robot spiders but when it cut to gameplay it was like 8-10 full grown robot spiders all shooting fire at me and killed me in like 2 seconds. Once it reloaded it was back to normal but man I'm glad I don't care about how many times I die in a game. I also had a bug where the guns wouldn't shoot, I just had to let them kill me because switching back and forth and even changing my weapon wouldn't let me fire.

What's with the enemy leveling? I'm 6 levels higher than that robot spider and I can't even get it to half health before it kills me.

I played more tonight and had some larger battles where around 10 enemies or so were coming at me and the framerate had to be dropping below 30fps, it happened in that area where you fight the first mech but there wasn't a mech in this fight just human enemies. It happened again in another area where there are puddles on the ground but that particular spot didn't have any water effects to worry about. I watched DF's video again and he said it ran smoothly but the battles in his footage were only like 4-5 enemies at a time. Most of the time that you don't have that many people coming at you at the same time so it's not too much of an issue but don't be surprised if you see the framerate drop pretty dramatically in larger battles.

Never had that issue.

I had to change my armor that handled fire and weapon loadout. I got it eventually.

Yeah, there are some bugs. Nothing to deter me from enjoying the game thus far.

I'm trying to like it but the aiming feels off to me, it jumps around a lot. I do like the way the world looks so I'm going to keep going, this was the game that stood out to me when MS first started showing xbox series x games so I've been looking forward to it for a long time. Also I haven't found any upper body armor yet and it doesn't take much for the character to die and they send like 7 enemies at you at once lol.
You can turn up the auto-aim in settings. Also, it's a bit RPG in that you can upgrade you aim. Game is pretty great for me. LOVE all the detail. Main character looks as generic as his/her personality! Still, I usually don't like the isometric view. The detail is so nuts it really draws me in. I found upper body armor pretty early. A couple different ones, actually, but I am a "scour every corner" type player, lol.

Oh yeah I turned that up within the first hour but it didn't make a whole lot of difference. It gets a little better as you level up and choose where to put your skill points. There is still an issue with enemies who get right up to you though, if you bump into them when turning you can't shoot right at them because it won't let you clip through the character model. I'm all for getting rid of clipping but maybe make it so the enemy can't be that close then or something.

Yeah I did that too plus I got the augment that lets you turn all of your damage into digital damage and that hurts robotic characters a lot more, using that while having the rocket launcher got me through it without losing half of my health.

Is everyone just playing by themselves?
I've only played like an hour or so, but I played co-op with a buddy of mine once I got out of the training area and into the city. Lot more fun in co-op for sure. Need to get a 4 player session in sometime soon.

Stop what? talking about a timed exclusive indie game? It's likely the engines problem not the console, when it eventually comes to PS5 it'll probably do the same thing unless they do more work to smooth it out post launch.

Is it a timed exclusive? Where does it says that? Just curious.

Believe it or not, i switched to a sniper rifle and killed it pretty fast. Switched to machine gun to kill little spiders.
Switched to an augment that put up a hologram character that took the attention away.

It's published by a 3rd party and when asked they always say "we have no plans at this time" which is the same answer every dev gives when it's a timed exclusive.

Agreed. Some areas are tough for just one person.

I haven't picked up a sniper rifle yet, I've found a gun I really like so I've kind of kept with that for the most part as my primary weapon with one of the rocket launchers as my second.

Co op is awful. Couldn’t even get a lobby working with my friends. It seems very tacked on. Enjoying the game still but really would have lied co op to be well implemented.

It was working flawlessly for me and my buddy, only real issue is you can't just have someone jump in while you're playing. You have to leave single player and then form a lobby. Small studio so it's no biggie, but it would have been a nice feature.

I hear the Shotguns suck lol,my favorite type :p ,waiting on the suppose patch this week to jump back in.
