All is forgiven, if ya can pull that look offDamnit, thought I quoted the black dress line from karmakid oops.
It's possible he is correct. He is an Xbox fanboy it seems as well.MattyPlays isn’t just some scrub. FYI.
Not saying it’s accurate of course. Regardless this is nothing that any one of us couldn’t have guessed at and maybe been right anyways. A game of this scope and ambition not to mention importo the brand? Could totally see it slip to late summer or even fall.
I can’t stand his video thumbnails. It's possible he is correct. He is an Xbox fanboy it seems as well.
Might be delayed according to this YouTuber with the trust me bro source
"According to YouTuber MrMattyPlays, Starfield might not launch in the first half of 2023.
"Starfield is getting a possible bump out of the first half because it's currently undated," MrMattyPlays said in the latest episode of Defining Duke podcast. He clarified that the delay is not significant and that Starfield should still release this summer. "Still [coming this] Summer but possibly [delayed] out of the first half"
YouTuber added that the source who revealed this information to him was spot on before. "This source is someone that I trust quite a bit and they've been very correct...nothing from that source has been wrong," Matty explained."
I think they said they’ll allow mods for Xbox. They may have a curated list of mods like they did with Skyrim?I am buying digital on this one. Gamepass PC is too restricted. Can't mod or tweak. A game like Starfield will thrive on PC as other RPGs, by Bethesda, before it.
Well Todd did say that they let the players know which planets are procedurally generated and which are hand crafted.1k planets to explore reminds me of the statement made by the devs who made Dying Light 2. You guys might remember when they stated that it'll take "500 hrs" to complete everything in the game. Yeah, that was a load of BS, a fun game but it was a collectathon in areas with reused assets which made almost all the interior spaces look the same which got boring real quick.
I'm not sure the devs for this game are trying to over promise but it seems likely that a number that high for places to explore is highly inflated or devoid of anything worth seeing in the first place. I hope I'm wrong, I really do. I think we need a new sci-fi RPG ASAP.
The number is feasible. I mean No Mans Sky has unlimited planets.1k planets to explore reminds me of the statement made by the devs who made Dying Light 2. No Man's Sky planets are barren and boring to explore, I find. There were a few planets I came across that looked visually great but that was all they had to offer and pretty landscapes don't hold interest for very long. The number is feasible. I mean No Mans Sky has unlimited planets.
Plus, A comment they made before about AI placing missions and content(buildings, trees, etc) randomly indicates that all 1000 planets will have stuff to see, do, and likely collect.
But that is what planets are like. It was trying to mimmick that.No Man's Sky planets are barren and boring to explore, I find. There were a few planets I came across that looked visually great but that was all they had to offer and pretty landscapes don't hold interest for very long.
I just haven't come across a game that used procedurally generated content to great effect. I remember The Division 2 DLC that used it and at first I loved it. But that good feeling quickly faded when almost all the levels were so similar/samey.
Like I said, I'd love to be wrong. I'm hoping this is in fact the "Skyrim" in space its being made out to be. Fingers, toes and arms crossed that Starfield is a mega hit.
It isn't that.Next gen Mass Effect is all I ask for
Doom World/mars in one, maybe a shield planet from halo in another, one could be a giant brain, or something gears related in another?I’m pretty sure much of it is to provide real estate for modders.
