Disappointing, but good news overall. I have a feeling had MS not bought Bethesda, they would have released it in the fall anyway, buggy and busted. The more Bethesda takes to polish, the better

Insomniac can put out three games in a year or two and Microsoft entire collection of studios can't?

My thoughts exactly and Redfall didnt really have a release date,I dont know why some people thought it was coming out this summer lol...we have seen zero gameplay of that either...just some CGI trailers.
I'm glad it was delayed. MS has presented little to nothing about this game and that raised red flags for me and others, I'm sure, considering recent disasters and meltdowns a la Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield 2042.

No, but we all expected something E3 ish in Spring. So , made sense both these games would show first gameplay there.
I'm not too worried about Redfall cause Arkane makes good quality games so apparently this definitely wasn't ready.
Agreed. Haven't played a bad Arkane game yet. However, I've never played a co-op centric Arkane game either.
That is like adding salt to a wound.... IF it ends up looking good.
Apparently, the internet thinks Phil Spencer managed these games and studios poorly, despite the fact that these game were in dev for several years before Xbox bought Bethesda. That is also forgetting how the internet bitched about XGS being managed closely resulting in "less creative freedom."
In short, it is just the internet being its fickle, two faced, contradictory self.

I give xbox a hard time about the quantity and quality of their output but being honest, project management is hard. I think Phil, for what he's inherited and gotten accomplished, has done a fine job. Xbox is in its strongest position in years.
and oddly enough the result is still the same, no games. lol.
Forza Motorsport better release this year.
Or they better surprised the s*** out of us next month with bomb drop games this fall at the Xbox game show. But they won't surprise us.
But we will get to see the games we can no longer play this year. Lol.
If it's true then good thing MS stepped in. Either way, I rather just wait and see when it finally releases and let the devs complete the game in peace.
