I’ll wait till halo is released, may make a placeholder later when I can think clearly
Halo is not PS excluisve/available on PS platforms, so it dos not qualify to be be game of the year anyway.

Exception is of course if a game deal with societal real life issues.....

I would definitely give Returnal best new IP. It hasn’t been a great year for innovation.

Got a whole bunch of stuff, mostly cheap stuff that intrigued me, but my big picks up were the new MonkeyBall and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 for switch. Got each around the $20 mark and was very pleased. Got THPS1+2 and I absolutely love the game. It's been ages since I played a proper skateboarding game. Great controls, great tunes, and it looks real good.

I bought almost nothing gaming related. These "black friday" deals are really not much of a deal at all. Wanted to get Cyberpunk on PC, but it was only down to $30 (console versions cheaper, but who knows if they'll ever fix it).

I grabbed 3 more months of GP Ultimate for cheap, and FarCry6 for $40 (not a great price, but something I wanted).

Even the steam sales seemed pretty light.

Just bought demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles for the PS5 for $30 CAD. Had some trade in credit left. Wanted Red dead Redemption 2 for $9.99 but no dice. The only other thing I got was a new Google Pixel 6 phone, Bestbuy had a great deal for a new plan and new phone with $400 GC too. Saved over 50% there than buying it outright from Google. Also get to finance the phone over 2 years.

Bought also advanced tickets for Spiderman No Way Home yesterday as Cyber Monday was first day to preorder tickets. Also first time for Screen X viewing. Over here, Tuesday you get a cheaper price so watching it on the Tuesday after opening weekend. The first couple hours, the Cineplex website was wonky and kept getting errors. Got it done eventually. Also applied my new Virgin phone plan benefit buy one get one free movie ticket 😜

Bought a couple Dell laptops for my youngest brother and dad as well for Cyber Monday. They had 12% cashback from Rakuten. Not bad all in all.

I bought a bunch of clothes for myself. How about them apples?

I have so many new games on the plate right now (Skyrim Anniversary, Alan Wake Rematered, Battlefield 2042, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5), I didn't get anything gaming related. Was tempted by the Horizon controller, but decided to pass.

Only Black Friday / Cyber Monday specific thing I bought was the Indiana Jones 4KUHD box set for $45.
