Thought he was a short fat guy and didn’t think that was him in the video. Searching for his height brought up 5’3”. Searched photos. He’s definitely over 6ft.

Unfortunately the rubes who don't understand things fall for the "fair tax" nonsense. Yeah you won't have to file with the IRS, but you'll pay 30% on everything you buy. Gas, food, everything. Add 30% to the price of a pickup truck. It is a massive tax increase on the middle class and a huge cut for the rich. The numbers simply don't add up for anyone but the very rich.

Just imagine how this would tank the economy? Inflation is already slowing sales a little. Throw a 30% tax on everything and we'll be in a recession in no time.

I love how the media will blame Democrats for inflation when gas or eggs go up (my local news has 24/7 coverage of the egg section at our local supermarket), but won't cover a 30% tax?

Would deferred taxes now be exempt, such as 401K? When you cash that in does that now fully untaxed, or would you still have to pay taxes on the years you contributed prior to the fair tax? What about state income tax - I assume that is still layered on top of the fair tax?
