The game is a series of survival puzzles, mostly consisting of methods to scare away or distract the hordes of hungry rats, or direct them towards murderous knights. The main method of scaring rats off is fire, as rats will seldom enter within a radius of burning torches and braziers. The player controls Amicia, a sling-thrower who can throw rocks to break drawbridge chains or stun guards long enough for the rats to ambush them. She can also craft special ammunition and supplies, which include fire-starting sulfur stones that ignite braziers. The two younger brothers can be directed towards specific tasks when Amicia is busy.

Coming to Xbox, PS and PC in May

It looks somewhat interesting. I'll definitely consider getting it when it drops in price.

Was always interested and after seeing the good reviews I'll definitely buy it before the month is out.

I'll have to give this another look. I had dismissed it, because the clips of rats and stealth just didn't seem interesting to me. However, this video makes it clear that the game is actually a linear character-driven adventure with excellent graphics, atmosphere, and environments. I didn't realize that. I'm interested in those types of games, and the historical setting is unique. I'll have to check it out when I have time. My only gripe is that rats get a bad rap already, and the game turns them into blood thirsty villains. Oh well, I'll get over it, lol.

Metacritic is 81-83, with user scores 86-88.

I've picked it up while I have 20% discount at work and I'll get to it after I finish The Council

My next purchase,it's getting praises everywhere and I always liked the previews and all, just too many games on my BL for now...

Game even lets you skip the stealth bits if you want but sod that

It's $50 right now, which is a bit steep for a 12 hr game without replay value, so I'll wait for a price drop. I need to wait anyhow, because other games are in line before it. But it does look worthwhile. I want to get around to it eventually.

Finally got around to playing this, what a fantastic game and story. The graphics are stunning. One of my favorite experiences this generation

Finished the game recently. Great story and voice acting. It looks really nice in 4K/144hz on PC.

Apparently, according to Powerpyx, Innocence is an easy and fun platinum. Going to spend my time doing this once the game is live on PS+.

Never played more than a couple of hours of this...I think the wonky stealth turned me off... I do like a good story though, maybe I should try it again.

Been reading that you should turn the CA setting to low as it really softens the 4k IQ. Also that last gen versions have more grass than the enhancements version? We will see once the comparisons are out.
