Ahsoka - A Star Wars The Mandalorian Spin-off - Season 2 In The Works

Why? Oh right, they just introduced Anakin.

Show has been pretty average up to this point.
I’ve been enjoying. Asoka is my favourite new character and I’m loving the live action with her. I’m also a huge fan of Rebels so seeing those characters brought to life is fantastic for me. It’s probably colouring my opinion on the actual story/show.

It isn't bad but it isn't a show where i'm waiting for the next episode. Sure, it is better than Obi Wan and Bobba Fett, but that isn't saying much. It falls far short of Andor, though.

I honestly don't know if I'd say it's better than either of those. At least I felt strongly one way or the other with Boba Fett and Obi Wan. This has had some brief entertaining action scenes, but I don't care at all about anything that's happening, and I like the "bad guys" far more than the protagonists so far. It's moving at a snail's pace and the writing, dialogue, and characters feel incredibly silly and awkward in live action. Not remotely impressed by Filoni's writing, direction, or show-running.

Well it is Ray Stevenson playing a bad guy.

I didn't finish Obi Wan or Bobba Fett. That is how I know this one is better. I will finish this one

It looks like you need to have seen The Clone Wars and Rebels going into this. I’ve only seen some of those two shows kinda lost in this and who they are and what happened previously.

I do like how they keep connecting all the shows.

On Disney+ they have a curated list of Ashoka episodes for Clone Wars:

Or this…

Or if ya want a breakdown of Rebels

Yeah, I've given both series 2 or 3 tries. I get 4 or 5 episodes in and completely lose interest. I'm far more invested and interested in Thrawn than any character shown so far in this series, and we haven't even seen him yet. He could show up and kill all characters in the series, including Ahsoka and Anakin's magic force ghost, and I wouldn't mind.

From what I’ve seen of Clone Wars and Rebels, Rebels actually got really good. I’d like to fish both and the other newer series some day.

Well that was pretty cool.

They really need to give Hayden Christensen his own Star Wars series. Lucas did not do him justice in the prequels the man can act.

If all the green tentacle headed aliens are built like the one in this show, I'd like Disney to exclusively focus every Star Wars series and movie on their species moving forward.

Saying Anakin is cool but its part of the shows problem and the problem with a lot of the Disney + Star Wars in general. Totally unwilling to tell fresh stories and an over reliance on shoe horning in characters from the animated shows or old movies. Why make a show so reliant on an animated series most people won't have seen?

Still 10 times better than Obi Wan though

Final two episodes were fun.
One thing saddens me and leaves a huge question at the end….with that one former Jedi character, the actor who played him passed away. He’s so good, I wonder who’ll replace him or if they’ll do the whole digital face mask and voice for the second season or movie
