Pretty sure thats the original actor. Just better job of looking like him. He played Alan and Mr scratch in American Nightmare.

When I saw the announcement trailer I wasn't hype, but after watching the interview I am looking forward to it again.

Considering it was 5 years from when the first game was announced to when it was released, and underwent a complete direction and style change, I won't be getting my hopes up until I'm finally playing the game.
