I watched the trailer in 4K via Remedy's Youtube Channel on my TV, feeling better about it now. The gameplay moments clearly are more detailed and easier on the eyes than the original console version.

I wish they'd have put a bit more effort into it (HDR, native 4K, etc.), don't love some of the artistic differences I've seen so far, and CERTAINLY would have preferred that American Nightmare was bundled in, but I'm looking forward to it.

For me, the incredible and unique story, incredible atmosphere, incredible soundtrack (hopefully all the licensed stuff carries over in the remaster), and unique gameplay.

Sounds like right up my alley so far. Still need to see the difference between remaster and PC version on Epic to see if price is justified or not.

You should definitely check it out, whatever platform you choose. it's a special game, very ahead of its time.

The game looks incredible in 8K on PC. I hope the remastered version fixes the issues the PC had like mouse acceleration being tied to FPS.

I think it should be a free update for Epic store owners. The PC version holds well when compared to the remaster trailer. I own the game on Steam. I am not sure I'd pay full price for a remaster.

It's basically the PC version with tessellation and better hair. Unless raytracing is being added, just patch PC version and save us PC guys some money.

Not sure if I'll get the remastered version unless actual new content is made, but I do feel the urge to replay the game again. It was an incredible experience the first time around.

I hear the gunplay was an issue for some in the past. Wonder if they improved on it there.

I never had an issue with it. I heard people complain but never understood it.
I had no issues, nor had I heard of any. It was unique how you worked it with the flashlight. The audio of the shots fired was average, but once you got the kill shot in, it was a satisfying sound.
