I took my oldest son to a local Amusement Park (Canobie Lake in Salem NH.) today. They have a pretty good amount of kids rides, and a couple decent coaster, a good old wooden one too. We had a great time, cant wait till hes big enough to go on a real roller coaster!

Anyone have a favorite Park to go to? I've only been to a few, a couple of my favorites are Six Flags N.E. They have a couple of really cool coasters, The Batman and Superman ones especially (they might also be other SF parks too). Knoebels Grove also sticks out in my head, they had a pretty cool old carousel that, I remember collecting rings as you ride around on it, never saw that before.

The only ones I go to are Cedar Point and King's Island. Been to each one at least 8 times and still enjoy the coasters. I believe the it has been at least 3 years since I went to them.

Love that place! The classic carousel is pretty great, and there are two pretty awesome wooden coasters. But the best part is easily the food. Apple Cider Slushies ftw!

Yeah I remember the food too. I can't remember what it is exactly that they call it, but was like a fried dough funnel cake, I could eat that all day!

I enjoy the Six Flags here in Illinois, Wisiconsin Dells has an amazing water park called Noah's Ark, and I loved Universal Studios down in Florida. Disney Epcot sucked balls though. For that, I could just stay home here in Illinois and just go to down town Chicago and visit the Museum of Science and Industry for a much more fun and education vacation day.

I used to go to a place called Boblo Island but it closed. It was unofficially Cedar Point jr. IMO

Boblo Island Amusement Park was an amusement park which ran from 1898 until its closure on September 30, 1993. Its amusement rides were sold in 1994.[1]

The park was located on Bois Blanc Island, Ontario. It lies just above the mouth of the Detroit River. The people of Detroit, Michigan characterized it as that city's Coney Island.[2]

Cedar Point in Ohio is really great. Went there for my highschool senior trip.

I've only been to Six Flags Great America @sharkboy1200 a couple times and it's been probably 14 years or so lol. I remember Batman and Raging Bull being really good. Probably a lot better rides since then. Wouldn't mind getting back there sometime but never have the time to do it.
