Take a look at these games for Europe next month.

FAR CRY 3
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (never really heard of this game though)
DRAGONS DOGMA: Dark Arisen

And for the Vita:

STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN
TOUCH MY KATAMARI (never heard of this game but sounds a bit sexy :))

But some pretty good games there. I think I will be getting: Far Cry, Dragons Dogma and Street Fighter for the Vita, all gamesI haven't played. Not bad if you ask me and can't wait when the PS4 comes out, as all these free games will just be a bonus with the online play included.
 
I think the Xbox guys dump on PSN+ unfairly. I have never had a problem with either service.

Xbox i think also gets dumped on without merit at times too. For example, even if someone is buying a PS4, should every X1 mention on youtube get bombed with dislikes? Wish more discussion occurred and less of the gang mentality the consoles wars bring out.

I hope Far Cry 3 is on the NA list. I loved the Bitterblack Isle section of Dark Arisen.
 
Who said its not good value? All that's been pointed out is these games are not free like others claim as you have to pay for the service and you don't own the games simply rent them.

Seriously, You think no one here (or elsewhere) has belittled the PSN service other than not giving free games?
 
Topic is about PSN+ not the online service which is a different matter.
 
PSN on PSVita has party chat or cross game chat(voice for free0

PS3 only has text based cross game chat
 
Yeah but once the PS4 is out, it will have party chat as well as online play and these games will just be a bonus then. I traded in my 360 about a month ago to try out the PS3 before I get a PS4, and the only negative I have of it is there is no way to talk to a friend while playing a game (like a private chat or party chat) other then that the online is the same to me. I like the PSN store, except it is a bit slow sometimes and I also don't mind the controller, got used to it straight away.

But the PS4 will improve on all of these things so for me it should be great value, having a PS4 and Vita (will sell my PS3 as soon as I get a PS4)
 
PSN+ is a tremendous value. I don't care if it's only rental for the games, it's a ridiculous value. I love that MS finally launched Games with Gold and followed Sony's footsteps. While not as robust, it will get there. But PSN+ kills it with value right now as far as 'free' games go.
 
I don't know if this deal is outside of Australia, but atm up until September 21st, they have this deal if you buy 1 year of PS+ you get 3 months free. So I used a 1 month trial and then bought a year for $69 and then got 3 months free. So all up 16 months of PS+ for $69 so I am very happy and it's ready for when I get my brand new PS4 :)

I was going to just ask you what was that and then realized it is true. Well if they deliver on every game with dedicated servers, that would be a brilliant feat and even I would succumb to the xbone. lol I see xbox one, but I know fanboys will see xbone lol.
 
I'm probably not going to finish all of the ones I've received. There are a few I definitely want to find the time for though.
 
PS+ isn't good value... said nobody ever. But way to stand up to defend Sony from those zeroes of detractors. :rolleyes:

I've never heard anyone dis the PSN+ value.

They are far more generous than Microsoft.. almost objectively a better "value" overall.

The service itself and the software behind it are more up to the individual to decide.

Everyone was dissing it once Sony added Multiplayer to it with the PS4. So next gen even though Multiplayer is included with the PS4, and you get all these free games on Vita, PS3 and PS4, some people were complaining about it.
 
Yeah people were mocking Playstation fans who always used the XBL paywall as a bash...

None of that had to do with value. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who claims PSN+ isn't worth the money.

But whatever, not important.. it's a great value either way.

That's because paying to play online was, and still, is crap. Plus is a great value on PS3; it is something else on PS4.

I'm definitely upset with Sony for putting the multiplayer behind a paywall. Especially considering they don't seem to be offering dedicated servers for most of their games like MS is doing with Xbox One. The price doesn't seem justified. Nothing else is behind the paywall. Party/XGC, Netflix, and all of that other social media garbage are still free on PS4.

Also the free-to-play games are not behind paywall.
It's not really true that 'all xbox one games will have dedicated servers'..

It just were Wired who reported that after they heard that Microsoft would subsidize access to Azure for Xbox One developers.
But needless to say, lot's of publishers don't want to buy servers at Azure, despite Microsoft giving cheaper access to Xbox One publishers, it's even cheaper to let players host it for free.

Just because MP the only thing behind the paywall, I don't want all that other s*** to be behind a wall as well. I think that is equally, if not more, s***ty. All those apps are free on other devices, there is no reason for them not to be free on PS4.
