Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania - February 17, 2023

Fantastic Four is coming in this Kang Dynasty story. Might be Phase 6, though.

I don't think it is the heroes, even though these new ones aren't as good. The writing has fell off a cliff...a perfect example here is Ragnarok vs Love and Thunder.

Hell look art this Ant man. The first 2 had Paul Rudd on the writing team. He didn't help with this third one.
Those are pretty mid tier movies too although probably a lot better than this. That is another problem way too many sequels to movies that probably shouldn't get sequels.

Yeah they aren't top tier, but they aren't bad either.

The writer thing though is pretty much the same for all these Phase 4 movies.

Watched it today. It was fine? Don’t get the hate. Just an average marvel movie.

I don’t know what movie the critics watched, I really liked it. Was nice not having joke after joke and going darker. Majors is awesome as Kang, can’t wait to see him in future MCU films. Was an enjoyable film see for your self don’t listen to the haters.

So.... I have had a crazy work schedule ( that I finally quit ) and never got around to watch the Loki show or even WandaVision. While I haven't seen Loki, there was enough spoiler thumbnails and such on YouTube to show it connects to Kang.

Since this movie is out, I wonder what those who have seen it think of Loki and if it should be seen first. Or would seeing this without Loki first, would a viewer be missing out?

Or is it like 2 companion stories that can be enjoyed out of order?

I’d say watch Loki before you see this. Especially the last episode it directly ties into Kang.

I enjoyed it, was it great, nah, it was really good. It does have a lot of exposition but none of it was unnecessary or long, some scenes feel like they cut some stuff out.

Majors definitely stole/carried the scenes he was in, his actions was great. I do feel some characters deserved more screen time or weren’t used to their possible potential, but I could also see why.

If anyone goes, there’s two extra scenes, one mid and the second after credits.

My theory - the “conqueror” survived, probably won’t show up till avengers Kang dynasty. I think he’s either the “he who remains” in “Loki” or the one at the end (Timely?) becomes “he who remains”.

I enjoyed it too. Not top tier Marvel but enjoyable all the same.
