I'd say use the flying mechanics for a MOS game, but I'm not confident they'll make a decent game again.

Anthem & Marvel Avengers hopefully are warning for developers NOT to release incomplete game, & think they can get away with fixing/adding things over time....
Destiny got away with it and continues to do. Obviously the blueprint devs are following.
these guys took Ironman and put that concept into a loot shooter and still f***ed it up. Seriously it must take some effort to do that.
Taking away what they did isn't a big issue imo. It was pretty old tired content. The issue comes with how little content got added in.

What an absolute waste of a new IP. They won’t maintain that live service for long now. I hope they take another go at it in the future.
If COVID is effecting developers across the industry so bad then why do they wait till games get delayed, cancelled, ship with huge bugs or performance issues before they say anything. Sure is a convenient excuse after the fact. How about developers start being upfront about it during development time to let consumers/fans know what’s going on.
Probably for the best since EA has no stomach for giving developers the time they need to make great games. I imagine the meeting went something like this.
EA: So how much time do you think is needed before this is fixed and we can rebrand the game as overhauled?
Devs: We are still assessing the implementation of new systems and the need for more/new content so its a little hard to pin down an exact timeframe.
EA: Ok, so move on to the next project and we'll right this off. BTW, expect layoffs to some in the Anthem team. Meeting over get back to work.

Anthem was probley my biggest disappointment ever in a title. That first trailer was fire but the actual game turned out to be a big bag of dog s*** on fire.
I am still really disappointed by this. I felt like they had the mechanics down for fun gameplay. They just needed to add content. They tried making a live service game, but it was basically just a campaign with nothing else to do. I would think just throwing in more activities like Destiny strikes and raids. They must have figured that would have taken too many resources.
How it is now is how it stays. Nothing new but the servers will stay on..
Tune in 6 months from now when EA announce the 'difficult' decision to switch the servers off

Played for about 10h... it's a mediocre sp game, but I'd say it's worth £4. The flying is pretty great imo
