Everything about this game is me, I just hope it doesn't have the content/endgame issues that Destiny and Division had at launch.
Sucks it was like almost everything else at E3 this year and out in 2018 with no specific date but the more time they need to pull it off the better I suppose.

is this a single player campaign game with coop if you want it? Or is it a game you have to play with others?
woops, should of read the thread first..seen acouple of you wondering the same thing. Hopefully I has a single player campaign otherwise I wont even bother
Thought it looked amazing but not sure i'll want to play it. Not really into the Destiny type games and if i was i'd be getting Destiny 2. We'll see though.
Which is good, because especially with Miranda in ME:2, I have a long history of playing solo in Bioware games.
I hear you! The only one of their games that I put any time to in the multiplayer, was Mass Effect 3, and purely to unlock the dead space or whatever it was for the achievement/ending.

cool..then its a day one buy.. Games lile this I like taking my time to explore and look at stuff. If I have to play with others I know people will just want to rush through it.

Well, this just moved up from "Gosh, I hope it's not as dull as Destiny seemed when I did the beta" to a game I'm legit craving.
When the dude opened the chest and she got the treasure as well, oh man, already better than Destiny.
Could be one of those games that's just even more amazing when you see it in person. Right now, i want to write it off but Anthem could be the next big thing.
Why would you want to write it off? You're supposed to be a gamer...writing games off should be the last thing you want to do.

You thought the Division was better? Comparing them years after release Destiny is the better of the two. Division has all the Destiny issues but to a much larger degree imo. Only place division is obviously better is the Story campaign.
To be fair I haven't played Destiny recently, but yeah I liked the story and setting better in the Division. In any case I got fed up with the grind. If Anthem has RPG elements in the same vein as ME I'm all in.
It's Biowre so I would expect it will be very RPG like.
Its kind of hard to tell what kind of game it will be. It has a shared world but I haven't seen any mention of interactivity with those players. So it could just be a way for seamless MP to work...or it could be full blown MMO...or something in between, like Destiny. The fact that Bioware class it as an action RPG pretty much rules out being a full blown MMO imo.
There were no indications of things like instances, strikes or raids...the kind of content one would expect from a Destinyesque game. However, they do jump into that storm thing which might be the way you enter content like instances, strikes or raids.
Obviously the game is still 18 monthsish away and we are going to be waiting aa while before we get substantial news and info. So the things mentioned above may very well be in the game.
I agree. Don't know if we're getting a Bioware Destiny or a more action oriented The Old Republic or maybe a mix mash of both.
It's not that i want to, i just don't think it's going to be one of those games that grabs me. All i see is amazing visuals and not much more. Hoping i'm wrong and it's a great game. Learned my lesson from games like Watch Dogs and Destiny though.
