Anybody know a good tablet for studies?

My laptop recently broke down and my aunt took my laptop bag so now I have to resort to something a little more compact to fit in the only bag I have which is rather small so I decided on a tablet. However I'm still not sure whether to just get a tiny laptop.

Anybody know a good tablet where I can work on my documents and assignments?

If there are any other suggestions I'd appreciate it!

How about one of those convertible deals that go from laptop and then you remove the monitor and it's a tablet?

Ya, I would go with either an ultrabook or as viktor said, a convertible.

especially if it's for school.

My gf has an ASUS and has for years. It's a bit of an older one, but based on how it's done for her I trust the brand.

Among Laptops I trust Asus.... I'using an Asus laptop now.

Main reason for trusting them is that Asus is a motherboard company before so I trust that the development for motherboards on their laptops are really good making it last for a few years longer.

Tablets are for screwing around. Books are for studying. Don't get a tablet. Get a laptop.
