My two cats, Luna and Felix come running when I whistle a tune I made up for their supper. If I whistle anything else they don't even seem to notice. They also know to run away (out of the bedroom at bedtime for example) when I snap my fingers (one snap). Just conditioned response I guess; but the kids seem kinda impressed (maybe they think dad has too much time on his hands).

discuss..

My cats do what they want... which most of the time is sleep.

Yes, can a bit brutal at times, my cat is getting old, working at home, I'm the official door opener every ten minutes.
My cat loves having people open doors for him. He then proceeds to sit halfway in and halfway out so you have no choice but to just stand there.

Lol, half the time they don't want to go out, they just like making you do stuff for them.

I trained my cat to meow and run in front of my feet when she is hungry.

One of my cats uses the toilet, but I had no part in that, other than he watched me use toilet...

Hey Txb! My cat opens the back porch door and let's himself outside. Its really annoying at night when I'm gaming or watching a movie and I look up thinking its a home invasion lol.

No training here but my wife and kids don't like the fact that they brought him home but he likes me more. Ha!!! I don't know about anyone's elses cats but mine just tried to chew my hand off when I gave him catnip! He was a little to into it.

My cat loves me, hates my gf and daughter

My cats are pretty disciplined. Click of the finger and they stop doing whatever they're doing. Like if they start wandering outside when I have the door open while bringing in groceries or letting a guest in, a snap of the fingers and they're right back inside. I spoil the hell outta them tho, so we have a great relationship. Cute wittle kitties...

Trained to do a few tricks:

I clicker trained my cats to go through an obstacle course. One of my cats is more food driven than the other so his attention doesn't get lost as easily.

Nope, but my cats have trained me. They have a warm lap to sit on whenever they please, multiple beds to sleep under the blankets and I think my son single handedly keeps the cat treat companies in business.

My cat is trained to tell me when her litter box needs cleaning. She sh*ts right next to it on the floor.

So my cat is not the only one. Thankfully I have been real good lately about keeping it scooped to avoid that issue.
