I'm not talking anything major here regarding the hardware. I mean just modifying the outside of a Desktop by adding a clear panel and LEDs on the inside. Possibly, doing something similar to a Laptop like adding LEDs on the outside or light up under the keyboard.
I just wondered if anyone else has tried this. If so, what worked, and what didn't. Or if you'd have recommendations for certain products and sites.
For example, I've heard some negative opinions on "Cold Cathode" lights. I'm not sure what's wrong with them or if they break easy.
