I got the first dose 2 hours ago and I'm sleepy, dizzy, and other stuff. I can't think clearly and my heart rate is probably double what it normally is. I hate those responsible for all of this far beyond what words can describe. This is so insane to have to deal with.

As soon as I walked outside I had a stinging sensation on my tongue with a metallic like taste or something I can't describe

Anxiety. Nothing more. Watch a calming video, or listen to chill music.

Which one did you get? The metallic taste is probably just the mercury in the vaccine that will make you sterile.

That wasn't it. I'm more concerned with everything else I deal with each day. Things kept getting worse until an hour ago. Both arms were tingling and going numb. Increased heart rate while my breathing was slowing down...weird combination.

It was the Pfizer. It was the only one offered. I've never bothered to look into getting it until Wednesday and it took me 2 minutes to find a local CVS to schedule it for me and my mammy. Only 40% polled on the local newspaper site said they'd get it, so nobody is filling the lines here. Meanwhile, the drive-thru at McDonald's was so busy, vehicles were blocking the 4 lane highway waiting to get in... People here are so stupid and terrible.

CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta has broken ranks with his network to voice support for former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield's belief that the virus that causes COVID-19 most likely escaped accidentally from a lab in Wuhan.

This really does seem far more likely than the wet market thing most of us were told to believe. I know I didn't want to believe the lab thing because Trump was pushing it but to me he made it sound like they did it on purpose which nobody is saying now. Most people who believe the lab theory think it was just an accident and that those kinds of things happen when people are working with these viruses and doing all of the testing that they do. China wouldn't do this on purpose and nobody should blame them solely for it either, our own government helps fund the work done at that lab but it does look more and more like the virus started at a lab in Wuhan and wasn't just born from unsanitary food carts.

I would also add that while I no longer blame them solely for the virus getting out of the lab I do blame them for the cover up that followed and them allowing people to leave Wuhan on international flights even though they wouldn't allow them to travel anywhere else in China.

As of April 12, more than 6.8 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen ) vaccine have been administered in the U.S. CDC and FDA are reviewing data involving six reported U.S. cases of a rare and severe type of blood clot in individuals after receiving the J&J vaccine. In these cases, a type of blood clot called cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) was seen in combination with low levels of blood platelets (thrombocytopenia). All six cases occurred among women between the ages of 18 and 48, and symptoms occurred 6 to 13 days after vaccination. Treatment of this specific type of blood clot is different from the treatment that might typically be administered. Usually, an anticoagulant drug called heparin is used to treat blood clots. In this setting, administration of heparin may be dangerous, and alternative treatments need to be given.

CDC will convene a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) on Wednesday to further review these cases and assess their potential significance. FDA will review that analysis as it also investigates these cases. Until that process is complete, we are recommending a pause in the use of this vaccine out of an abundance of caution. This is important, in part, to ensure that the health care provider community is aware of the potential for these adverse events and can plan for proper recognition and management due to the unique treatment required with this type of blood clot.

Right now, these adverse events appear to be extremely rare. COVID-19 vaccine safety is a top priority for the federal government, and we take all reports of health problems following COVID-19 vaccination very seriously. People who have received the J&J vaccine who develop severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks after vaccination should contact their health care provider. Health care providers are asked to report adverse events to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System at https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.htmlexternal icon.

CDC and FDA will provide additional information and answer questions later today at a media briefing. A recording of that media call will be available on the FDA’s YouTube channel.

He is saying he is much more informed the problem is anyone with connection with Trump can't be trusted so we won't know for sure until truly credible people say so.

It just makes more sense and that's the point, the guy was appointed by Trump but he's also not some unqualified nutcase like Betsy DeVos or someone like that. I'm not sold on it 100% but I think it's far more likely than not that this is what happened. If he were saying it was done deliberately I'd dismiss him right away but he's not, he's also saying it was unintentional, Trump made it seem like they just did it on purpose.

And took his qualifications and then bent over for Trump and eroded the publics trust in the CDC. The CDC failed and that failure is his.
