Here in SoCal in the IE some people are starting to act like thing is completely over and there is no chance of it coming back.

Me, i am buying clorox wipes, cleaning products, and hand sanitizer for round 2 lol.

In southern Alabama I think there is a reprieve from seasonal effects of going into Summer. I'm not super cautious going in and out of small stores, but I'm not planning to sit down to eat in restaurants; I'll keep getting carry out.

It is smart to still play it safe. This thing is far from gone. Nobody should live in fear, but taking all the same precautions is important.

People are definitely confusing a slight downslope with it being over. Honestly I think local governments are basically being forced to open up.

I got a particularly optimistic e-mail from the state about being back to work "soon". Kind of made it sound like they'd be bringing employees back this month (not everyone, but phasing in). I fear they are going to expect us to work in masks all day when we can easily just stay home.

My god the projection. Do you think he actually knows he confesses himself or it's so ingrained in him he's oblivious to it and his handlers are afraid to tell him?

"mass worldwide killing"

so it IS something to worry about and take seriously? Trump is so f***ed up, I try not to even pay attention to him because I don't live in the USA and this guy just causes you to lose brain cells it's not worth even checking in on what he's up to, but it's also not possible internationally to not
hear about some of it.

Good luck with that USA friends, too bad he's gonna get re-elected eh?

The end gets closer and closer.... maybe good idea to start thinking about who you want to be in the apocalypse.
I want to be Jeramiah Johnson I think. Not totally sure though but that's what I'm thinking.

I pay more attention to WI politics/news than IA so don't know how stuff matches up, but there definitely seems to have been an overnight switch. The first couple of months was definitely quieter, dead looking places when driving by, etc. But now it's like everything is back to normal. I'm not sure if people are still taking it serious as outside of going to Target or the grocery store I haven't bothered going anywhere else and probably won't for a while, at least until I know the businesses have rules in place. For example local bookstore I go to they recently opened up instead of just curbside, and require a mask and social distancing while having sanitizer and gloves for those that want it. Having those rules posted on their site makes me feel safer visiting at this time.

I think the most disturbing thing about this is the idea that someone is trying to figure something out about people with some really weird stats, and yet, this might be on to something?

Where did this come from though? Is Fox news actually referencing this on their programs and trying to scare people?

Also good to keep an open mind, is Bill Gates wanting to track people with life threatening viruses or is he trying to help? Can it be both?

Also pretty sure you can opt out of anything like that if it worries you. How f***ed is life right now? LOL

Ok that's a good one, but now you're in the thick of it. But you ever see Mel Gibson eat something in those movies because it seems like he'd get worn down pretty fast if he didn't.

If s*** gets really bad I'm going North and living in the woods.

It's insane that anyone believes this garbage, what the f*** is going on?!?! On that list 75% of republicans and 48% of democrats are open to it or convinced of this. WTF? Obviously Republicans are worse on this (as they are on almost everything) but Jesus Christ why are so many Dems at least open to it? Nobody with any common sense would even entertain this, there is no reason for Gates to do it, he doesn't run the government and he's already one of the richest men in the world so he has nothing to gain.

That's totally reasonable, it's just when you get these (almost always) women with their phones out ready to record a debate with a retail employee (who can't respond how they'd really like to) who's done nothing but come to work every day to make sure we all have the things we need that it becomes a problem. If people just stay civilized and follow the rules and wear their damned masks we should probably be able to get through this without it getting much worse. I don't have a lot of faith in people though but we'll see.

So how has covid-19 impacted the cities you guys live in? My city has a population of over just 110k, we've had around 380 or so confirmed cases and it was just announced that there have been 17 deaths so far.

People in my area are back on social media calling this a democratic hoax and they just wanted to wreck Trumps economy. They just wanted us in fear the virus was never a problem and has a 99% recovery rate lol.

I saw a video of a guy at our local lake with a packed beach walk up to a guys boat taking his Joe Biden flag breaking it saying “we all Trump around here!!!” I really hate the people in my state sometimes.

That would mean all of Europe and Asia were in on it.... and took the steps of killing their own economies just to make the Democrats in amerika win...
