Anyone watch Penny Dreadful?

I had no idea what this show was about and watched the first episode. Writing was not terrific, but I was delightfully surprised about the premise.

I watched the second episode, which was much better, and am wondering if this show goes downhill or doesn't have a real ending (I read it has been cancelled).
 
Yeah it's very good and worth a watch. It was filmed right beside where I worked as well. My only gripe is the way it ended. It really seemed like it was meant to end with the season 2 finale but then season 3 comes along and introduces new characters and potential story lines and it just suddenly ends. I was a little disappointed with it finished up.

I thought season one was ok, but didn't enjoy season 2 all that much. I didn't even finish season 3.

Season 3 started very well but it ended so badly it was really a case of 'WTF was that about! '. It should have ended with Season 2 was it was originally meant to.
 
I enjoyed it. Thought the 2nd season was better than the first. id give it a 7 out of 10 overall
Edit: I did not see season 3 yet as its not up on Netflix yet
 
I've watched a few episodes. Too much of visiting everyone's origins stories.
