Aquaman

I just can't get excite for an underwater superhero. For me, I don't see the appeal.
How about we wait and see. I am excited because it will take place in a world we haven't seen before in a comic book movie. I want to know more about the mythology of Atlantis and how it will tie in with the DCEU. How they move around and fight under water. And Jason Momoa will set the tone for the big-screen Aquaman since there was none before him.

I'm really looking forward to this, I love that Aquaman has finally started getting some love over the past few years instead of being made fun of. If you haven't seen the DC Animated movie Justice League Throne of Atlantis you should check it out. It could have used a little extra time to help develop the story and Aquaman's transition a bit more but I really enjoyed it.

I love that they are actually living in the water in this movie and not just in domes under the sea the way some of DC's cartoons have shown Atlantis.

Ludi Lin ("Power Rangers") joins Aquaman as Murk, trusted ally of Aquaman and leader of Atlantis' front-line army the Men-of-War.

Aquaman: James Wan Calls Underwater Sequences ‘Very Complex’
http://www.superherohype.com/news/4...ls-underwater-sequences-very-complex#/slide/1

Wan spoke about the difficulty of shooting a film that takes place largely underwater, and keeping the CGI to a minimum. “It’s a very technically challenging shoot to be on,” Wan told the site. “Working with water, and even the dry-for-wet sequences are very complex… Our equivalent of two people sitting around chatting in the underwater world is super complicated. You have to think about CG with the hair, and how their clothing moves, how are they floating, what kind of rig we put them on and all that stuff.” He said it was “not an easy shoot,” trying to keep as practical as possible.

Trailer coming soon.

Big DCU announcement tomorrow apparently.

Had its first test screening. Positive impressions with great story, action and even bits of horror apparently.

I hope Atlantis has more color in this movie than it did in Justice League, I'd also like to see the magic be more than just bubbles.
