Loved his Dawn of the Dead remake. Bring it on!
It's really strange to me that they referenced Man of Steel instead of Dawn of the Dead during the trailer. You think you'd want to remind people of the genre-relevant well received film from the director, not Man of Steel.....Loved his Dawn of the Dead remake. Bring it on!
I’ll check it out
I hope at least 2 of the 3 Romero classics are in your top 2.Godsdammit this looks awesome!
Dawn of the Dead 2004 prob in my top 3 favorite zombie movies, hopefully this doesn't disappoint.
Also,Snyder really is a master of combining music with epic movie scenes.
I hope at least 2 of the 3 Romero classics are in your top 2.
One of my first jobs was overnight mainentance in a shopping mall. I couldn't believe it when I stumbled across Romero's Dawn of the Dead it was like my dream movie at the time.
Night, Dawn, and Day are all classics. The original Dawn is usually top of my list, but #2 kinda fluctuates between Night and Day. For his later movies, I seem to like Diary of the Dead a lot more than most. Never been too big on Land or Survival, but they're ok.
I too really like the Savini remake of Night of the Living Dead. Fulci's Zombie has some incredible moments too.
A couple recent zombie movie discoveries of mine from the last few years that were solid were Battery and The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue.
I've had the bluray of the Hammer film, Plague of the Zombies, sitting in my basement waiting for me to watch it for several months now. More of a voodoo style zombie movie, but I always hear it's great. Looking forward to finally watching it.
If in my pretentious snobby mode, yes... If me being comfortable in living in the 21th century, no.I hope at least 2 of the 3 Romero classics are in your top 2.
Funny they have a Penelope Cruz look-a-like character named... Cruz
Lol
Not sure how many movies I've seen before where my favorite part was the opening credits.
