Art Thread (post art you made)

Little teaser for my short Ive been working on. Did my own mo cap and some hand animation, inspired by anime style.
Done in Blender, After Effects and Unreal Engine 5.

That is amazing, Will you make this into a proper game?

Anyway, 2 quick bash concepts for my next 3D print Catwoman project.

I am liking the seductive pose (the one below) more, as it's more different pose from most of the statue/figures on the market.

Catwomen looks great! You draw that? Procreate? Photoshop?

and no not for a game, just practising my CG animation etc. I have 2 mo cap suits plus hand animate some stuff as well. Not perfect but main thing is to get ideas across and tell that story.
I mainly use it for proof of concept for projects etc.

Tbh though I am toying with the idea of making a test game. I have been using after effects for around 15 years, and Blender/Unreal Engine for around 6 years. (I know after effects isn’t nothing to do with games design, but it will help with cut scenes/cinematics etc)

UE5 is bloody incredible, and my son has just finished university where he studied video game design plus I know quite a few people in the industry.
Of course I know it’s not easy, and i’d just do a small test level first, but I am tempted at the idea.

I do VFX/CG stuff as a hobby as I really love it plus I do use it in my job. I have worked in the movie industry for 30 years now, in stunts.

I was a stuntman for many years, now I design action sequences and choreography etc. I use VFX/CG in my stunt viz which are test scenes, I shoot, edit to present to the director for proof of concept etc

My VFX isn’t perfect but usually I don’t have the luxury of time on my side and need to get things done fast, so I cannot go for super high quality but the main thing is ‘telling that story’, so if the scene has a fight scene where one dude kicks another guy through 3 walls and I have him flying back and smashing through 3 brick walls which explode on contact and you can tell what’s happening then mission completed.

Its better having VFX to show the director what’s happening, even if I am not gonna win awards or a job at ILM 😂, but as long as the big dogs know what’s happening in the scene and if they like it, of course they will do a much better job. And it’s a good way of breaking down a scene, so they know, this first part is practical on location, then middle bit could be filmed on green screen with a stunt guy , then blend to a digi double smashing through CG walls then blend to the real actor sliding across the floor for final shot.

Sorry I got too detailed then lol, went into my work mindset 😂
