Assassin's Creed Hexe 2026 ?

Have they ever made a mainline Creed game without all the pointless present day stuff? Not played any since 3.
No it’s still there but it’s been completely optional for years now. I’ve skipped it very game since I was able to do so.
The animus should've died with Desmond (although I enjoy it at the time). Origins did it perfectly, 95% (semi-) ancient Egypt and 5% sci-fi.
I would've loved them continuing with the same mechanics and world building as Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla tbh.
I'm not really feeling china or japan though... maybe mayan/Inca... or Carthage? Phoenicia? Earlier civilizations are too historically muddy to get right, hence the very late date of Egyptian civilization in Origins.
I never played the Egypt or Greek ones, but I herad they weer good. Mayan will be sick.
As for Japan. or China. We are NOT lacking setting base on Japan and China. We have Chinese and Japanese developers making them already. The new Wukong game I haerrd will be epic.
Anyway, what I want to say is, they should make games with historical settngs and expand on it with many games, minius the AC tag. Egypt itself have much room to expand. You can even make a scorpion king game with the asserts. But making sure I can romance the sorceress.

They need to drop the AC name when the games has little to do with AC.
The AC name is not Tom Cruise or Jason Stashom and his 2 other bald friends, diesel and rock. It doesn’t sell game by itself
I just told you AC is not Tom cruise.They prob want it to sell decent so used the franchise name
