Asus ROG Ally - New Steamdeck Competitor

Nah, I never really used them anyways. There was a buttload of updates (Windows, My Asus, Armoury Crate) but once those were done I dabbled in some gaming.

This is with the unit plugged in:

-Forza Horizon 5 - 1080, mix of medium, high and Low settings, solid 60fps
-Destiny 2 - 1080, mix of medium and low settings, getting 50-65 fps
-Diablo IV - 1080, FSR 2.0 at quality - get about 60-90fps depending on where I'm at

I tried a bunch more, this is what I wanted the Steamdeck to be. The screen is simply amazing. And it's W11 so it plays everything. I hated fumbling around with trying to get store fronts to work on the deck.
Are you using multiple stores, say epic, windows and or steam?

HDMI port got f***ed. The pins in the motherboard.
Took it to Asurion, they had it for two months and gave back to me unfixed.
Weird, I’m having issues with my Ethernet port, I never unplug it, but there’s definitely some concerning play when plugged in

Starfield is probably a no-go on this thing though, huh?
If it isn’t you could probably stream it via GPU.

Xbox needs to allow people who buy their games digitally to stream them without the need of GPU, if need be maybe with gold, nah that’s stupid, it isn’t even necessary to have an internet connection. Just do it you cowards, I’ll be ok if the one caveat is you buy it on their digital store.

I was messing around with emulation yesterday.
I definitely need to figure out a better front end though. Manually picking each game in retroarch is a pain.
