I rewatched infinity war, that part pissed me off. I know it was needed for the story, but they had it!Starlord messing up the initial fight in Infinity War, leading to the eventual deaths of Widow and Stark, should be a story arc in GotG3 imo.

Apparently the clanking sound is homage to when Tony Stark first made the Iron Man suit.
loved the movie but left a bit of a mess at the end.
Capt. killed the timeline like a boss at the end

But him staying has a major effect at the end. He doesnt belong to the 1940 because he stayed in the main time line.I guess he figured it’d be ok in the end cos she’ll forget it all when Alzheimer hits later, and gets to kiss her granddaughter....ewwww, wait, what if her grand daughter is his???? Cap is Marty???
Okay I guess$1,200,000,000 with Sunday not finished being counted...
Only 39 movies to hit $1b. This did it in a weekend. Avatar is tops the list at $2.7b.Okay I guess
They had one shot. Going back and altering his suit could change the dynamic of the engagent, resulting in failure.Yee, I’m still dumbfounded that they didn’t think “let’s go back and and save him or reinforce his suit”...kinda feel cap coulda handled it. But I’m ok with it, my guess is they’ll bring him back as an A.I. or alternate universe/timeline Tony
Just domestic?$1,200,000,000 with Sunday not finished being counted...
How so?But him staying has a major effect at the end. He doesnt belong to the 1940 because he stayed in the main time line.
curious, how many of those 39 are superhero movies?Only 39 movies to hit $1b. This did it in a weekend. Avatar is tops the list at $2.7b.
Because Capt. never skip time to be in the current time line. By him jumping back as he is now the future man going in the 1940s he has all the answers to change anything. How so?
The second sentance makes no sense.
They flat out tell you that isn't how it works.Because Capt. never skip time to be in the current time line. By him jumping back as he is now the future man going in the 1940s he has all the answers to change anything.
Good movie. Really enjoyed it. Cap giving his shield to one of the 2 most useless Avengers puzzles me...
How it doesnt work? He is outside the time line. The Supreme said so.They flat out tell you that isn't how it works.

When hulk told her that everything will be back in place with no chances he didnt know Capt was planning on to stay in 1940s.
So therefore, if Capt decides to do something or did already it might not be minor but he already created another alternative reality.
Him being there in the 1940s is a new alternative reality.
While there’s no new timeline, there are now two Captain Americas? You're very confused (and wrong) about it all. The Ancient One (where did you get "Supreme" from?) said reality is shaped by the Infinity Stones. When you remove one, a new timeline is created. Moving people around time does not create new timelines - only Infinity Stones. Since Captain America placed back all of the Infinity Stones, there were no other timelines created.
There is a question as to whether Loki created another timeline when he escaped with the Tesseract, but that's a separate issue than what you are struggling to understand.
Ultimately, Captain America staying in the 1940's through the present does NOT create a new timeline, nor does it change the future.
No, there's only one Captain America now, but there was for a long time, two Captain Americas - up until young Captain America went back to take back the Infinity Stones. While there’s no new timeline, there are now two Captain Americas?
