Avengers: Endgame **SPOILERIFFIC THREAD** Enter at your own risk!

So who do people think will be the next Avengers group? Will it be all the characters we know or will they start by adding new characters and then build a new team?

Cap Marvel & Spiderman seem like 100% locks.
Black Panther & Surri will likely play a roll --need too replace the Stark money and tech.
Antman and maybe The Wasp seems likely.

Hulk, no. Maybe plays a role but not an actual Avenger.
Falcon - Might have the mantle of Cap Merica but I don't think people care.
War Machine - Maybe like Hulk.
Winter Soldier. No
Wanda - Not likely...not long term anyway if her TV show is anyghing to go by.
Thor. No
Valykrie. No.
Barton. No
Guardians. No...but this group can come and go.

I think they will introduce the young avengers... iron lad (likely the actor from iron man 3 that was a boy), scott lang's daughter, etc. Depends on where they go in the comics to get the members.

I hope not. That sounds cringeworthy.

I liked the fact cap gave his shield to falcon. If I remember rightly Will Smith was gonna play cap America before Chris Evans.
Oh and a little useless trivia I was the first person to test out his suit in the first avenger until I blew my knee out in rehearsal lol then made the change from stuntman to fight/action choreographer :bang::bang::bang:

Also couldn’t Captain Marvel easily have wiped the floor with Thanos if she entered the fight earlier?

Yes, but I'm kind of glad they kind of didn't do that. She played a role, but had she just jumped in and blasted Thanos with red lasers it would have felt a little empty. They left it on the "old" Avengers to sort out, and that felt right. This was Capt. America and Iron Man's story to play out.

Plus I have to think there will be a Galactus at some point (or some other cosmic super baddie) and plenty of time for her down the road.

Great movie - the biggest scene for me was when Cap wields Mjolnir. It all played out very differently from the old comic series (I need to read the more recent version).

I wonder where do they go from here?
That was prolly the best part for me too, and Thor’s reaction to it, which harkens back to when they all tried to lift Mijonir at the end of Age of Ultron.

Maybe they should not have introduced her as early as they did then. She could've turned up near the end of the battle to save the day or turn the tide and then made her excuses why she is late to the party.
IDD that this is Cap A and Ironmans story though, like I said I enjoyed it a lot but I feel infinity war was better overall.

Galactus should be phase 7/8/9 the next three should be dr doom :p

Odd that no one complains about spiderman killing in this but was in uproar about Batman doing it in BvS

Cos those who grew up with the cartoon Batman stated on more than one occasion that he doesn’t kill, which I did and I’ve yet to read any comic so yee... but with Spider-Man it may be because he’s killing aliens bent on killing all of man kind, so, yep

Spider has a 0 kill rule and always has. Batman hasn't and has killed before. No one gave a crap about burton's batman killing.

She didn't need to be in Endgame at all. Thor could've destroyed the ship like he did in IW. Wanda is more powerful than Thanos.

Captain Marvel was not needed at all.

Enjoyed Endgame but 1 hour too long and imo Infinity War>Endgame. When I watch it again I may change my mind but for now I preferred the previous movie. Still good though.
Really? I am not a fan of IW. Endgame was wo much better. IW felt like it dragged on but Endgame didn't feel that way at all, if anything, Endgame felt a little rushed at times despite its 3 hour runtime.

According to the Russos:
  • Thanos only reduced the stones to the atomic level. The stones are still present in the universe.
Interesting. So they are taking the whole 'energy can't be created or destroyed only transformed' route.

I'm calling it now then, Dr Strange 2 will see the return of the time stone.

2. Infinity War
