Avengers: Endgame **SPOILERIFFIC THREAD** Enter at your own risk!

Endgame
Avengers
Ultron.
Infinity War

Oh my gosh, you either liked Ultron or hated Infinity War. I really thought Ultron was the weakest because of the misleading marketing, as he wasn’t scary and Age of Ultron as a title made no sense

It is called Age of Ultron because of the intent behind his creation.

Not a fan of IW at all. Only seen it once and have no desire to watch it again. I did like the Titan battle, though.

She didn't need to be in Endgame at all. Thor could've destroyed the ship like he did in IW. Wanda is more powerful than Thanos.

Captain Marvel was not needed at all.

Not much they could do unless they saved her for after Endgame which as a whole probably wouldn't have worked as well. Good that they gave the original Avengers most of the screen time though.

Felt like it was kinda forced by the whole 'women main character' trend sweeping through Hollywood.

To be honest, with the bad press and Brie hate I wouldn't be shocked if they reboot the character and we don't see Danvers for 3 or 4 years.

In terms of her having a movie or what she did in Endgame? She didn't have to have the movie beforehand but its for the best if she is going to be a major player going forward since this way she can interact with the original team. In terms of what she did in Endgame its probably less of a role than I would have expected but that was the right move. The Infinity War setup means she has to do something of note but the movie can't be all about her either since she just showed up and that wouldn't be satisfying.

That same hate came from people saying the movie would bomb too and we saw how that worked out. Nobody cared about any of that no matter how many babies you see whining about her on youtube.

Thor wasn’t at full strength.

In IW he nearly killed Thanos with just storm breaker. I mean storm breaker was able to cut through a full gauntlet blast.

Thor got wrecked in endgame while having storm breaker and the hammer with Thanos not even having any infinity stones.

Yes I do. They have strick image policy at Disney.

What difference does its box office take make? People watched it because it is Marvel and they linked it to Endgame. They didn't watch it for small fry Brie.

Nearly killed him by doing 1 thing Thanos didn't think could happen. He never actually fought him.

Funnything is we can actually say Thanos wasn't going full on. He discarded his armour for a start, which implies he saw no threat. In Endgame he isn't taking chances.

I'm confused by the Russos' answer to this question:

Q: Did Captain America's action at the end affect the timeline? Does that mean there was a time where two CA existed in a same universe?

A: To me, CA's action in the end wasn't the fact he wanted to change anything, it's more like me has made a choice. He chose to go back to past and lived with the one he loved for the rest of his life. The time travel in this movie created an alternate reality. He lived a completely different life in that world. We don't know how exactly his life turned out, but I'd like to believe he still helped many others when they were needed in that world. Yes, there were two CA in that reality, it's just like what Hulk said, what happened in the past has already happened. If you go back to past, you simply created a new reality. The characters in this movie created new timeline when they went back to the past, but it had no effect to the prime universe. What happened in the past 22 movies was still canon. (emphasis added)

That seems to contradict what the Ancient One said with regard to the Stones being the only things that create new timelines.

Either way is the same. Even if they want yer as the next leader they could have introduced her post Endgame. Her interactions with old guard doesn't amount to much.

Not sure it does. She was specifically talking about the function of the stones and the dire consequences her time stone not being present would have.

Thinkabout it...

2012 loki vanishes, that has to create a new branch reality.
1945, peggy now lives a whole new life, must create new branch.
2014, Thanos and all his people travel to 2023. That means everything from Guardians of the Galaxy onward never happened, thus a new branch realty was created the moment Thanis left.

I was opposed to the multiverse concept in the MCU, but I guess we've got it now. lol

See I wanted Engame to be about the multiverse because time travel always confuses people. Even when the movie gives a pretty clear structure of time travel effects.

Disney would care if thought it would hurt their profits. She isn't going anywhere.

As the lead character, I wouldn’t say it is small fry Brie. And seeing it is an origin movie and very little to do with endgame overall, I don’t think so.

Also, let’s not forget they brought back James Gunn after the alt-right nazis went after him for things he said a decade ago.

Yes, Disney cares about image, but they have no problem back tracking and they def ain’t going to bend over to alt-right/incel YouTube/twitter future Terrorists again like they did with James Gunn.

Now if the next Cap Marvel movie comes out and it bombs, then they will make changes.

Luckily the c*** haters have very little effect on public general opinion.

Future terrorists? Love it.

She is small fry...lead or not.

There really shouldn't be a new Cap movie. Same as there shouldn't be anther Iron Man,lad, gal, rescue or anyghing else.

She likely isn't. I was just saying it wouldn't surprise me.

It would be extremely shocking. They wouldn't have any reason to do it and they wouldn't be able to justify it if they did. The bad press would be 100x worse.

I think everything was vague enough to work for Endgame, but the MCU moving forward seems like it’s gonna be a mess. I’m kind of glad I’m done caring lol
