I remember trying this out on Gamepass. I played for a few hours and I was disappointed that there was no traditional skill tree. Its a deck builder and I'm just not into the sort of thing where I have to acquire cards for skills and abilities. Its the reason I didn't get Marvel's Midnight Suns.

I wish Turtle Rock lots of luck with their next game.

I played a little with some friends. It's very clear the game has no legs.
A few things I think they get wrong.
Forcing you to pick an existing character instead of allowing you to customize your characters in a PvE game.

Progression sucks. The deck or something is weak sauce. If you look at Vermintide, there is a skill tree and you get to craft & upgrade your gears.
