Played a bit in solo mode (which didn't seem to unlock any achievements or add to the stats for some reason), had a lot of fun. Aiming was no problem for me with a controller, except for sniper rifles which seemed too sensitive zoomed in. Look forward to playing more.

Yeah, gonna download it on PC and give it a go. For the f*ck of it I'll try controller on PC too just to see if it's f***ed as well

Apparently nothing unlocks in Solo mode. No achievements, no stats, no cards, etc. Guess you have to play online for now until the devs update the game, crazy they didn't realize a lot of us would want to play solo on our first runs.

Game runs and plays fine with a controller, like any other shooter, you noobs just gotta get good.

And yes that's a stupid idea locking progression of you play solo, I played with some terribly annoying randoms last night would rather play with bots if my mates aren't on.

Lol, no it doesn't in Xbox at least. Play ANY other fps on Xbox (or PlayStation) and you feel the difference, even doom 3 on switch handheld controls better, and that one's bad.

It's horrendous on Xbox. Game is a piece of sh*t.

I played a little on Xbox (there is cross progression it seems at least between Gamepass PC and Xbox).

For the controller, you actually probably want to turn down the aim assist settings. The aim assist is so strong, stronger than I can ever remember in a console game. It can easily pull your aim off target and force you to fight it. By default it is on 50. Try it on 30-40. I think I landed on 40. There's a little target range off to the side of the main area you hit so you can play around with it. I think the default settings are just way too strong. It is way, way stronger than COD Zombies which itself is really strong.

The level with the bar and jukebox is so good. Having tons of fun with this. The big issue is even on rookie you need a team who is at least playing. You get randos who know nothing about the game and you're going to have a bad time. People will figure it out or drop off and find something else.

The song that plays is random according to my brother/cousin when they played the first time, it was something else entirely than the time he played with me.

There's at least Ace of Spades by Motorhead (awesome) and that song from maybe Pulp Fiction? There's definitely more than that too.

I've had ace of spades, black Betty from spider bait and one other I can't remember, and yes that level is fun, played one time with 4 randoms and this one guy kept trying to be team leader and just started abusing one of the others, I told him to chill it's just a game and he started screaming something and left mid scream.

Don't you mean 3.0?

Interview: Back 4 Blood Dev Explains Why Game Pass Is So Important for the Game

I think Gamepass is great for multiplayer focused games like B4B, definitely increases game population.

Enjoying it with friends right now on PC.

Moving on

Game never got an update to fix the horrible controls with a controller, it's unplayable in regards to aiming with anything other than a shotgun and you have to strafe into pretty much every shot to hit a moving enemy. Feels kind of like how kill zone 2 felt before they updated the aiming.

Made too many customizations and game felt like a live with all the things you could buy.

I still had a decent time with my friends but none of them really liked it.
