I was just looking for Portal a few weeks ago and couldn’t find it. Been trying to catch up on the highest rated single player games of last gen that I didn’t play or finish. Never beat Half Life 2 either. This is awesome!

Now gotta prioritize between Lost Odyssey, MGS3, Dead Space and Orange Box.

Who needs new games?

Get the Orange Box then, it has Portal on it too.

Turns out my model of ps3 doesn't play ps2 discs and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS. The 20 and 60 gig do, but not the 40..

Not that I'm short on things to play. I never got around to the orange box much, and save for some steam sale bundle, it might be my best shot at playing all of half life 2.

Remember it looking great, with interesting combat. But, playing FFVII through IX and this being the first ff game since that, I couldn't help but feeling nothing but shallowness. Stopped playing about 7h in, googled and got something along the line of; "game gets better 30h in". Didn't feel it worth to continue.

They're good, man. I don't know why people hate on FFXIII. It's one of those games..

Its about the pedigree of the series. You could argue every mainline FF game up to that point was an all time classic. So high expectations caused the backlash when it didn't reach them

How's XV in comparison to the XIII series? I haven't played it yet.

Better than 13 but barely. Terrible pacing story-wise but more freedom game-play wise up until a certain point. Mind you, I played the Day 1 version of the game not the royal version or patched a million times version. The worst thing I can say about 15 is that it didn't feel complete nor edited when it was first released. 13 IMO was just a mess.

Both games to me, felt like they were just throwing ideas and concepts against a wall and trying to see what stuck. The sooner Square Enix decides to move away from the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy series the better.

The only thing 15 does better is be less linear but its not like 15 does anything well with that freedom so who cares
