Batgirl - $90m Flushed Away(Cancelled)

They did a green lantern for this DCU but it bombed so they ignore it.

I honestly don’t know, I never really read a comic or manga in its entirety. I know of of what happens to them through the cartoons/anime, animated movies or spoilers through friends. Have yet to see the Killing Joke but I know what happens and I’m guessing that would probably never fly in a live action adaptation...more than like it’d be a side note mentioned in a future DC flick, if ever.

It's funny how much more their animated movies seem to get away with, they are actually very violent and graphic at times compared to the live action films, they are also pretty good for the most part as well.

Robins dead. BvS confirmed it and Suicide Squad confirmed it was Joker and Harley.

Word is WB made them cut the scene.
Sorry for the bump, but I feel like a complete idiot for not recognizing this when I watched it last week lol. I thought it was just one of his old Batsuits LOL

I don’t know what she’s worked on in the past, she’s adorable, but on the slim side, but if gal gadot can pull it off the I have hope, look at Tom Holland, no one knew who he was before Spider-Man.

Insiders added that studio brass loves the film’s directors and star, and are actively planning to work with them soon.
Why would you want to work with the directors again if they made a movie so bad it can't be released on HBO Max?

Edit: Apparently there is a rumor that HBO Max is getting scrapped so that might explain that.

Reactions: Plainview

Studio insiders insist the decision was not driven by the quality of the film or the commitment of the filmmakers, but by the desire for the studio’s slate of DC features to be at a blockbuster scale. “Batgirl” was budgeted to screen in homes on HBO MAX, and not for a major global release in theaters. (The budget reached $90 million due in part to COVID-related delays and protocols.)

I need to finish what ever i want to see on hbo max and cancel for now its going to s*** with the takeover.

The movie had reshoots to try to fix it but apparently the new guy in charge still doesn't like it. It looks like The Flash may be next and it would make sense as this movie was supposed to be building on what happened there. Apparently after Aquaman 2 all of the Snyderverse stuff and anything snyderverse adjacent will be scrapped and everything will be restarted at some point. Obviously the new Batman and Joker films are their own thing so they aren't going to be impacted by this.

Well they seem to want big budget movies and cheap TV so based on that Flash is only getting dumped if Ezra Miller is too much of a headache since its big budget
