SMGs are just kind of situational. For some of those indoor points they are fine, but most of the time, you simply need the range.
You may already know, but you can get those unlocks done in bot matches. Just pick a map in breakthrough and set the bots to easy. You can get 100+ kills in a round easy. Just remember to bring ammo.
Most of the vault weapons are kind of bad anyway. They don't have the same attachments and end up with more recoil. Some of them are solid but there's nothing that is a must unlock right away.
Looks good. I've been having fun with 2042. Game is on the right track. Now we just need persistent servers/dedicated servers and we are golden.
Haven't played it much to be honest. I do plan to give it a really good go when season 4 drops.
Supposedly the new specialist can counter all the prox sensors and everything else that can spot you. The game's needed that for a long time.
Sadly, it is kind of hard to get too excited for cosmetics, considering that there may only be one more season. Even if there is more support, I am guessing it is going to be less. Realistically, they are going to start moving on to the new game more and more. They've already said this is the last specialist. Hopefully they keep giving us maps, but I wouldn't count on it.

Played a match of Breakthrough and Conquest on the new map. Seemed like standard bs. Then moved to TDM BF of Ages or whatever and actually had fun. Minimal bs and I think we went like 7 wins in a row.
Mainly my biggest issue with those game modes like walk 5 miles just to get sniped by someone camping in a window in the corner of the map. Otherwise the pain of playing against PC kids beaming you in a millisecond. TDM at least recently seems to be heavier on the console players, but you always know when you're killed by PC. If there was a casino game on knowing who you were killed by in this game I would be rich.
Also, the more I play BF of Ages the more I realize I how much I enjoy the old school WW2 or Bad Company stuff over the new game lol
2042 is free on Playstation Plus (the old school one, not the new game pass type thing). Will be interesting to see if player numbers increase.
New maps a banger, I hope they take these design improvements to the next game.
