I hear it runs poorly and doesn't look as good as BF3 even on rigs better than mine.

I watch a number of BF Youtube channels, and all of those guys are crapping themselves over how fantastic the game looks, and they play far more BF3 than most any of us. I don't know the details of the problems some have had (there are new drivers specifically for the game for some graphics cards, etc.), but there are absolutely a ton of people out there who have had phenomenal results with the game graphically.

On console, the beta definitely looks weaker than BF3, but that's because the "HD textures install" BF3 had isn't present for the beta. It still looks better than BF3 looked without the install though.

That Crunchwrap supreme is just way too damn big wtf. I've had 3 of these boxes since they started. Not sure I can do anymore.

I don't think its very good on 360. It could just be because its Conquest with 24 players. The map is desolate and lonely, no intensity at all.

why can I not download a free beta? Its telling me my credit card info can't be retreved , buy this item with money in your Microsoft account or try again later?

Is it just me, or did the Crysis 3-like motion in the original E3 debut get toned down to Battlefield 3 level? I have every setting at max and it still looks like the motion blur plainly got downgraded. And there are a lot of poor textures everywhere. I figured with this being a next gen console release as well that textures would finally be decent all around.

Possible not all effects and textures are at the highest resolutions/settings since its only the Beta? How old is the Beta build anyway?

For a company supposedly having some money problems they don't mind giving away things.

They don't even need to do this Sony, as they are the ones who have the most preorders and are the most popular. MS should be the ones giving their Xbones away as that is the only way I would own one :tounge:

Well just played some, prolly 4-5 matches, and its pretty decent, but, man is it ever fugly! I never played BF3 without the "high res" pack installed, but after playing the beta I'm glad they had it. Other than the muddy visuals, which made it hard as hell to tell what's what at distance it played pretty good. The only real problems I encountered was some messed up clipping and broken seems on on destroyed debris on larger objects like buildings and such.

Taco Bell. You had me at free PS4. You lost me at free Knack. :really:

This is my first experience with a Battlefield game. It's far different. I said to a buddy, "It is far harder to kill someone in this game than CoD." He said it's actually than past Battlefield games. It will be nice to have the option of a more of a sim with this game and straight up arcade shooter like CoD. Overall, I liked the beta. The graphics are off putting but then you remember it's a beta.

Read the article...but those comments

One getting - down simply for saying they cant wait for KI.

To sum up in DF's own words:
"Even if Microsoft's CPU and fixed function silicon doesn't provide the frame-rate boost that the firm says it does, downscaling can ensure a feature complete port. Here's Crysis 3 running at various sub-HD resolutions with a 30 per cent compute penalty compared to a native 1080p presentation."

So the bottom line is the difference in power this generation is around 30%, i.e. 1080P games on PS4, downscaled 900P games on Xbox One. Doubt we will notice any real difference on our televisions unless you sit up close.

Yeah that's the case...if only all PS4 games were running 1080p and all XBox One games downscaled.

Both will have a mixture of it all and I'm still not sure why some gamers convinced themselves it would be different next gen?

The reality is unless your gaming on a computer monitor/ or display sitting less than 3 ft away, the visual difference will be minimal to non-existent as the system will probably scale the resolution any way unless it's native 1080p. I'm also expecting as the XB-1 Tech matures we will see more 1080p Native games hitting market. Personally I'm more excited around the the XB-1 SHAPE Chip and the sound it's gonna produce. Visual difference is great, the jump from DD/DTS 5.1 to DD TrueHD/DTS-MA is huge. If you don't believe me watch a DVD of less say "Looper" in DD & listen to the audio. Then watch it again in Blu Ray and listen to the Audio DTS-MA Mix

The Difference is "Night & Day"

ha ha ha, then you will be very disapointed, there won't be any multi platform games running at a higher resulotion on ps4 compared to Xbox One.
You didn't read the article I guess.
Wait two months and you'll see.
